A Surprising Call

You wake up to the sound of people talking upstairs. You put on a hoodie on with some leggings and you head up to the living room with your messy hair. Once you get to the living room, Kath starts laughing while heading over to you to hug you.

'' - What happened to your hair?!

   - Hmm? '' You look at your hair and you start laughing too.

'' - Hm maybe I forgot to tie it up yesterday!

   - You look funny like this though. '' Cray says.

Everyone in the living room started laughing to death and once everyone calmed down, you all go make a video for your channels. You decide to make a video where you show your '' talents '' with cooking cupcakes for Lannan and Elliott and for the rest of the crew, of course. You turn on your camera and you start with your intro.

'' - Hi guys! How are you doing on this fine day? I'm doing personally doing fine. Today, we are going to make some cupcakes for the crew but at first I wanted to make them for Lannan and Elliott because things seemed to be tense between them. Anyways. Like the video and subscribe if you are new with post notifications to never miss my uploads. Let's get straight into it. ''

You take out the ingredients and you start following the steps. Once you put the cupcakes in the oven, you make the icing. After a few minutes, the cupcakes were baked and you put the icing and decorations before taking your camera, going to take them to the rest of the crew. After you gave some to everyone, you decide to go give one to Elliott and Lannan before ending your video. You go to give one to Elliott first. You knock at his room door and you say.

'' - Elliott? It's me, Y/N. Can I come in? I got a surprise for you.

    - Sure, come in. ''

You enter his room and you see him on his bed, scrolling through his phone. He lifts his head up from his phone and smiles to you.

'' - I'm happy to see you. What costs me a visit of yours?

   - Well... I was baking cupcakes for a video and gave some to the whole crew and I wanted to give you one! ''

You hand him the cupcake you made and decorated with attention. He looks at it and he says.

'' - How much time did you spend decorating them? It's really pretty!

   - To be honest, I don't know. Come on! Take a bite! ''

He nods and takes a bite out of it.

'' - It's really good! Thanks Y/N.

   - Gald you liked it! Anyways, I have to give Lannan his cupcake before ending my video. Bye Elliott!

   - Yep bye! ''

You noticed that his smile faded away when you said '' Lannan ''. You started to ask yourself if anything was wrong between them but you decide to get going and give Lannan his cupcake.

You find Lannan playing Fortnite with his friends. You touch him slightly on the shoulder and he turns around. He seemed happy seeing you and he said to his friends.

'' - Guys I'll be right back. ''

He muted his microphone and turned around to you.

'' - Hi Y/N! 

   - Hey Lannan! You seemed busy as I can see?

   - I actually wasn't. I was just playing with my friends.

   - Oh well! Can I give you something then?

   - Sure what is it? ''

You hand him a cupcake and you say.

'' - Here you go! I made it myself.

   - Hmmmm let me try this! ''

He takes a bite out of your cupcake and ends up eating it all at once. He says.

'' - Thanks! That was a nice cupcake. I was hungry anyways so that filled up my hunger.

   - Okay then I'll leave you to Fortnite! Bye Lannan!

   - Bye Y/N. ''

He hugs you before you leave him to go upstairs. You felt your heart skip a bit when he hugged you and it surprised you because you never felt that way because of a hug. You finish your video and turn off your camera before joining Kath on the couch and talk a bit. After a few minutes, you get a call and your face gets a bit surprised but shocked at the same time to see the name of the caller. Kath then asks you.

'' - Y/N? Who is it? Are you okay?

    - It's... It's Jason.

    - No! You must be kidding! Answer it! 

    - Okay... ''

You answer the call and put it on speaker. You then hear.

'' - Y/N? Hello? It's me, Jason!

   - What do you want. I told you to never speak to me again.

   - I just wanted to say sorry...

  - Sorry?! Sorry?! You should have said that when you cheated on me!

  - I know and it was a mistake...

  - Yeah right a mistake. Like in hell I would believe you.

  - Y/N...

  - No Jason. I'm done hearing your lies. Let me live my life now. I'm happy without you. Goodbye Jason.

  - Whatever! I'll find you and I'll make you mine again!

  - Try Jason. Like everytime that you say you will do something and you don't. I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Goodbye. ''

You hang up almost wanting to cry. Kath then hugs you and says.

'' - You'll be okay Y/N. You'll always be safe here. That ex of yours, Jason, didn't even deserve you anyways.

    - I guess you're right. It just makes me feel strange hearing his voice again after the day we broke up...

    - I know what will cheer you up! ''

She puts on dumb videos on and that did make you forget him. You block his number from your phone and you finish your day pretty happily. You were about to go sleep when you hear someone calling your name. You turn around to see Lannan. Yet again, your heart skips a bit again and you cannot understand why. '' Do I like him? No it can't be. It's too soon. But it could be... ''  He then says.

'' - Goodnight Y/N!

   - Goodnight... ''

He hugs you before leaving to his computer to record a video. You go to your room and stand in it for a few minutes before actually going to sleep. What you couldn't tell is.

Was this love or just nothing?

Okay hi guys! First of all: thank you for a 100 reads. I did not except to reach that this quickly. I will be making a 100 reads special. (Maybe for Christmas. Who knows????)
