I Love You

*A few weeks later *

As time flies by, you are still trapped in your feelings for Lannan whenever you think of him. You just feel that you should him that you have feeling for him, but on the other side, you are scared that he doesn't feel the same way towards you.

'' - Gosh! I am so.... confused, '' you whisper to yourself.

You keep thinking about your feelings when you hear knocking at your room door. You raise your head from your bed to look at the door and you say.

'' - Who is it?

   - It's me, Elliott! Can I come in? ''

You didn't really want to see anyone right now so you say.

'' - Ahhh... Can you come later? I don't think I am in shape to see anyone right now.

   - It's important though... I'll be quick I promise! Can I please come?

  - ... Fine. I'm giving you 2 minutes.

  - Thanks! ''

You sit straight on your bed as he walks in your room.  He takes a chair and sits in front of you. You ask him.

'' - So. What is it?

    - Well... I have been thinking about it for a while now and I'm not sure if I can hide it anymore...

    - What do you mean?

    - Well... Um... I kinda like you Y/N... ''

Your heart skipped a beat when he said that but the problem is that you didn't feel the same way towards him. You saw him more like a best friend, or even a brother, but not as a lover. What you were about to tell him was going to hurt you, but you want to be with the one you like rather than with someone you don't like. You then say with an apologetic face.

'' - Elliott... I'm sorry. But I don't feel the same way towards you...

   - Ah... It's okay. I'll leave now...

   - Wait. Hear me out before.

   - Okay.

   - I don't feel the same way towards you because of two things. The first is that I see you more like my brother than a lover. 

    - I feel a bit better. Continue.

    - Now the second might hurt a little to hear and it hurts me to say that to you but... I already like someone else. ''

The look on his face wanted to make you cry for hurting him but the he looked you with an understanding face.

'' - I understand. I assume you want to keep our friendship on good terms. That's why you said no.

    - Yeah... ''

He looked at you with a smiling face.

'' - Well even if you rejected me, you're still my best friend and I hope that the person you like will make you happy. Or else they will hear from me.

   - Noted! I'll see you later Elliott! 

   - Bye! ''

He then left as you fell back onto the bed with a sigh.

* Elliott's POV *

As I left Y/N's room, I couldn't help bou think about who she may like. Then all my thoights went back on one person.

Lannan.

'' You better take good care of her Lannan, '' I say in my thoughts.

* Your POV *

You are still thinking about confessing your feelings to Lannan but you are afraid he would reject you. After your past love relationship, you are still a bit skeptical about getting into a relationship with someone.

'' Nah. Lannan isn't like Jason. Lannan is... better than him,  '' you think.

After arguing with your thoughts for over 10 minutes, you decide to go see Lannan. You find him on his computer, playing Fortnite. You go over to him and cover his eyes with your hands. He says.

'' - Oh my goodness. Who is it?

   - Well guess!

   - Oh! Hi Y/N!

  - Hi! Sorry for what you are about to see by the way.

  - What do you mean?... ''

You take your hands off his face so he can see his screen and throws his headphones away when he sees the '' beautiful '' surprise he had: he had died in Fortnite. He says.

'' - Why would you do that? I was winning!

   - Sorry! I guess that's my revenge for you laughing at me raging when I play!

   - That's not a reason to make me die! ''

He then turns his face to you and he starts pouting at you. Your heart skips a beat when he did that and you started blushing. He then says.

'' - Okay so what costs me your visit?

   - Well... I kind of need to tell you something important...

   - What is it?

   - Um... Well... I have been thinking a lot lately and I think it's the right time to tell you...

   - Hm? What is it?

   - Well... I-I-I like you Lannan... ''

You close your eyes to not look at his face or reaction when you feel two hands touch your face. You hear.

'' - Y/N... Look at me please. ''

You open your eyes to look into Lannan's and you can't help but start blushing. He says.

'' - You know, I also wanted to tell you the same thing a long time ago. I aslo feel the same way towards you. 

   - I was afraid you would reject me...

   - No. I would never. But I will be happy if you would be my girlfriend then?

   - Of course I will, '' you say smiling.

He then brings you into a hug before kissing you. 

'' - I love you Y/N.

   - I love you too Lannan. ''

For once, you felt happy again... Aside from being happy with your friends, you were happy again but...

With someone you love.
