"So then two years ago, I got a this really cool smartphone that wasn't supposed to be released for another year and-"
"Oh. My. God! Lila shut up!" Amelia snaps with a higher pitch in her voice
"Amelia what's the matter?" Adrien says hearing her sudden outburst.
"Lila! That's what's the matter! Everything she says! It's a big fat lie!"
"Amelia, I don't know what you're talking about, it must be the Christmas stress we get it at times." Lila says trying to calm her down. Marinette looks over with Nino and Alya helping with last minute present shopping.
"I'll tell you what's the matter, it's you! You're compulsive liar and you can't tell the truth even if your life depended on it 'cause it would one day!" Lila looked like she was gonna cry. "It's obvious that my cousin being your love interest is 100% a lie! I know this and it's because we are related and he is not into you he's like Mari-" Adrien quickly covers her mouth before she mentioned Marinette's name in her ranting and being fed up with the Italian teenager. "Amelia, I think you should calm down now." He says petting her head to try and cool her rage.
"If anyone is looking for any last minute Christmas gifts I would say a couple of truth serums and a lie detector even!"
Lila had an icy look when Adrien takes her someplace else to try and calm her down.
"Amelia I haven't seen you get like that before." He says finally cooling her upset. "I... I'm really sorry, what Lila is saying isn't true and I don't like it at all."
"It's okay Amelia and I can't stay mad at my own cousin." He says hugging her gently. She hugs back feeling his warm embrace. "Christmas Eve is tomorrow and it'll be our first Christmas together as cousins." She nods with delight looking at the snow everywhere. "Adrien," he looks over to her, "do you wanna build a snowman?"
