7. Will you marry me?

Katherine's POV

"Damon."
"Katherine?"
"Katherine Swan. Not Katherine Peirce"
'"You're not that selfish slut?"
"No,Damon. That's Katherine Peirce. I love you."
"Katherine Swan, will you marry me?"
I look at him wide-eyed.
"Katherine!!" Someone shouts. "Get up, you sleeping potato."
"Are you serious, Damon?" I say ignoring those voices.
"Yes, Katherine. You're the love of my life. You're so beautiful. I would give up anything to spend my life with you."
"Mom, she's dead. She's not waking up" I hear that annoying voice again.
Just when I was about to answer to Damon's proposal...
"Damon...."I say.
Water is splashed on my face.

It took me a few minutes to realize where I am and what is happening with me.

"Nate." I spot Nate standing in front of me with a bucket and laughing his ass off.

"You're so dead" I say shouting and running behind him.

We reach downstairs where mom was putting a plate full of pancakes on the dining table.

I run behind Nate and he tried to make mom his armour.

"Mom, prepare for your son's funeral."

"Shut up Katherine. What happened? Why are you all wet?" She says laughing and dragging Nate from behind her.

"He splashed a full bucket of water on me while I was having the best dream of my life." Then I think about that dream. It was a dream. It wasn't real. Ohmygod, Damon. How much I love you. I'll marry you soon I promise.

"Nate." She glares at him. "I just asked you to wake her up."

"But she wasn't waking up. I tried the easy way. But it was fun to watch how she woke up with that shocking face. She looked so funny" That ass laughs again.

If looks could kill, he would be dead by now.

"I hate you. I am all wet in the morning."

"Congrats. I know you haven't had a bath in a month. You stinky skunk."

I get up from my chair. Go to the fridge. I take out two brown eggs. I watch Nate. He is busy with his phone and food. Good. That'll keep him distracted.
I go behind him.
Raise those two eggs.
And SMASH those eggs on his head.
He is fully soaked in egg.
And then I make a run for my room.

I am not getting out of my room unless he is out of the house. I wouldn't mind skipping school to save my life.
Then I think. Nate got egged. And then it became hard for me to stop laughing.
I could hear Nate shouting and Mom laughing.

"Good one, Kat" Mom shouts while I was in my room getting ready for school.

"Is he gone?" It's been half an hour since I took my revenge.

"Yes. He took bath and went out like an angry bull."

I open my door. And let her come in.

"You're definitely my daughter." She laughs while sitting on my bed.

"Thanks for clearing the doubt, mom" I say picking up my bag and shoving some books and papers inside it.

"So, who was that boy the other day? The one who dropped you off." She asks while smiling. And me, I am confused.

"You mean Luke?" I say.

"Yeah. He was definitely hot."

"Yeah, I am not having this conversation."

"Oh come on, I could definitely tell he likes you." She says getting up from my bed like a child.

"Yaa right. Cause he has no other work to do, right?"
