(This is a time skip to the first day of school)
Claudia's POV
Summers over, and now school. I haven't had a good night sleep all summer, before I came to Beacon Hills that is. I don't know, there's something about this place that just gives me a sense of comfort and belonging. Maybe it's because my parents were born here, and this was their home for most of their lives. I don't know? I just woke up, I look over to check the time and see that it's 5 o'clock in the morning and school doesn't start for three hours. Well, no going back to sleep now.
I get out of bed, grabbing a change of clothes, a towel and my phone, and head to the bathroom for a shower. I turn on my music, turn on the shower waiting until it's the right temperature before getting in and washing away the tiredness that overwhelms my body.
I get out of the shower and dry off, before I get a text from Evan.
(Evan: Claudia:)
Hey you still picking me up this morning? Or do I have to ride with my mom, and her friends?
I'm picking you up dumdass. Be ready in 45 minutes, or I'm making you ride with your mom.
Dude. That's harsh. That is probably one of the scariest threats you've ever tossed at me! Please don't make me ride with my mom!
Okay then, I'll make you ride with your dad.
No. Dude. That's worse! Okay I'll be ready in 45. Promise!
Yeah. Whatever. Just be ready. Okay? Bye!
Wait! Before you go! Are you going to sign up for lacrosse? Please say yes! Sign up for lacrosse with me please! I'm begging you!
Dude. I can't sign up for lacrosse I'm a girl. Also we'd never make front line. It's just a fact. But, I might sign up. Just for the hell of it!
Yes! Thank you! You are the best! I love you! Platonically!
Okay. Love you too man! See ya!
When I finished texting Evan I got dressed (outfit up top), I went downstairs and made myself breakfast. I found a note on the counter from gramps.
Hey sweetpea,
Sorry I left before you woke up. I was called in early, but I promise we'll have dinner tonight! You can choose!

With that I finish my breakfast and head outside to Roscoe. On my way to Evans house, I swear I see something in the trees. But maybe, I'm just seeing things, I am pretty tired still. Who knows?
I get to Evans house, and I wait 7 minutes before he finally comes outside, and to think, I was about to leave for school, and make him get a ride with one of his parents. He gets in, and just looks at me. I don't falter from my original position, and my expression doesn't change. I just stared right back, until he looked away and said "I know you were about to make me get a ride with my parents." I just looked at him and laughed.
