Claudia's POV

When the boys finally got outside, coach called me over and told me to stand next to him. I did as I was told.

"Stilinski has been out here running laps for the past 10 minutes, that means that she got a head start, she has 2 more laps and then she can take a break. But to make it even less unfair to you boys, you have to stand here and wait for her to finish her next two laps and then you can start running." He said, and shooed me off to do my last 2 laps. I obliged and continued running, but I went a little slower. Coach caught on and congratulated me when I finished.

The boys started running, and I sat on a bench waiting for them to finish. Once they were done, coach got us to do some throwing, I did okay, I mean I don't have the best aim, but I have a strong throw. Then went on to catching, I'm good at catching because I time it and I'm good at guessing.

We were all tired by the end of it, Evan didn't seem too worn out though, then again I was pretty alright myself too. He told us who made the team and our positions, Evan made the team he's an attacker, I made the team I'm a midfielder, a guy named Cody is an attacker, some dude named Liam is a defender, and one kid named Kyle is goal keeper. Oh, and a bunch of Cody and Liam's friends made the team as well. And I'm the only girl, I'm not surprised.

After that we were told to go change and then come back to field, coach wanted to tell us the rules.

(Small time skip to when they've all changed back into their casual clothes and they've been told the rules, Stiles outfit is the one up top)

"Alright, now all of you get lost, but Stilinski I'd like to speak with you for a minute."

"Okay," everyone walks off to go home, but for Evan its wait by the car for Stiles, "what do you need to talk to me about coach?"

"You are already my favourite player and student, not because you're a girl, but because you're never late to class, you're respectful, and you're polite. Please don't ever change." He says and then ushers me off.

I get to the front of the school and I see Evan there waiting patiently for me. We start talking about tryouts, and for a second I think that I won't be able to keep him here long enough, that was until Eugene appears out of nowhere... right behind me.

I walk off because I already know what's going on and I wait by Roscoe. A few minutes later they both approach me and they both seem happy, or at least Evan does. Eugene just looks dead inside. It's kinda creepy.

"Evan is officially a part of my pack, and you don't have to join my pack, but you seem like you'd be a good analyst. So I'm gonna keep you around." I nod and he walks off.

Myself and Evan get into Roscoe and I make my way to Evans house. I drop him off, and make my way home.

Once I'm home I go to my room and continue reading and scribbling notes. After a few minutes I get a text from gramps.

'Hey sugar, I won't be home tonight, make sure you eat dinner, and take care of yourself. I love you sweet-pea.'

'It's fine, I know you're busy, I'll make sure I eat, I'll be fine. I love you too gramps.'

With that I went back to working in peace, the silence was overwhelming. So I put on some music.(song at the top)

I continued to write, but after already writing for several hours I decided to start typing everything I've written. After another hour I hear a knock on my window, I turn and see Eugene with someone in his arms. I quickly race to the window, and let them in.

As soon as Eugene's feet hit my floor he handed me the body. They were quite obviously breathing, so I wasn't too worried about it, but they weren't awake. I—as gently as I possibly could being smaller than the person— laid them on my bed and immediately recognized this person as Kyle from lacrosse.

As soon as I realized who it was, I whipped around—almost giving myself whiplash—to look at Eugene, and I started flailing my arms around as I spoke.

"What the hell are you doing here? Why is Kyle unconscious? What did you do to him? I swear to god if you hurt him I will kill you! I will not hesitate." I whispered harshly.

"I didn't do anything without permission, so don't... don't blow up. Okay? He'll be fine. Maybe."

"What do you mean maybe?! Are you telling me that something bad might happen to him?! Is he going to die?"

"Kyle will be fine. He just needs to sleep for the next couple of hours. His body is still learning to accept the bite, by tomorrow morning he should be okay."

"Should be! He 'should' be okay! And why did you bring him here? I'm a human, what am I supposed to do?"

"You have the Tomes, you have the information, you have the supplies. You take care of him, until tomorrow."

"Wait, what? Dude you can't jus—" and he was already out the window. Gone into the night.

I stand staring at the window, unmoving, watching the spot that he stood, as though he would come back. I don't know why I stood there, I don't know why I thought that he might come back. I don't know why I 'hoped' he would come back. Maybe because I wanted to believe that he would tell me more, maybe it's because I wanted to believe that he would have more information about the situation to tell me about.

After a few minutes I turned towards Kyle, walked towards him, and knelt down by my bed. That's how I spent the next two hours, watching Kyle like a hawk, and worrying that he might not be okay.

After so long of worrying, I finally stood up and went over to my desk to try and figure out what could help me in this... this situation.

I opened the Tome that spoke about werewolves, and began to read about the transition from human to bitten werewolf. It's not painful, but it is tiresome. There is at some point in time going to be a stage of sweating and night terrors. But that's the last stage, so it shouldn't be too bad. Now I just need to prepare myself for what's about to happen.
