Claudia's POV
Evan just called me in the middle of the night to meet him in the reserve... I'm going!! Who knows what weird thing he found or what we will find.
I grab my bag and toss it out my window, not thinking to change into day clothes I jump out the window, land on my ass, I grab my bag, and head for Roscoe.
Once I get to the reserve I see Evan waiting patiently... well as patiently as he can he's pacing back and forth. I get out of Roscoe grabbing my bag and heading towards him.
"Hey Ev! Why'd you call me here so late at night?" Let's get straight to the point.
"Hey Sti! I called you here because I heard that there was a dead bod- why are you in your underwear?" He found heard that something died... that's a good reason!
"Dude. Who cares? Nobody is gonna see me, but you! And we are literally like brother and sister!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Anyways, I heard there was a dead body and I wanted to check it out! So I called you! Please tell me you brought supplies?"
"Of course I brought supplies. I got 5 flashlights just in case we lose one, I got extra batteries, water, food, blankets, matches, duct tape. Dude I'm prepared for this!"
"Yes you are! Do you have something to subtly mark our path?"
"Yes! I have a pocket knife to carve markings into the trees so we don't get lost!"
"Okay sweet! Let's get going!"
And with that we make our way through the trees. Every once in awhile marking a tree with a snowflake/star looking pattern. Evan is marking our path, so he's doing the little design.
After walking for awhile we decide to sit down in grass patch that we came across and just relax for a few minutes. Until we heard a twig snap, then we looked up and saw...
My grandpa and the police force, awesome. And I thought I wouldn't be seen in my underwear by anyone but Evan.
"Claudia? What the hell are you doing here?! You should be at home! Not here! Did you not hear about the animal attacks that have been going on? Are you alone? Why the hell are you out here by yourself?!"
So Evan got away? Thank god! I would hate for him to get in trouble!
"Well, I wanted to see what was going on! I heard there was a dead body and I wanted to try and find it!"
"Claudia you are an idiot sometimes. And why the hell are you in your underwear? You don't even have shoes on!"
"Sorry... I-I just- I just got excited! I didn't even realize, plus I honestly didn't think anyone would see me." I was blushing deeply, I mean after all what teenage girl wouldn't with all the hot young cops staring at her barely covered body.
Let's just say that gramps forced me to wrap myself in one of my blankets and go back home. I did, after I tried looking for Evan, who mysteriously disappeared.
