Claudia's POVWe're driving to where the body was found by Evan, but I have a gut feeling that we might not find it, however we are also looking for his wallet. That's not really important, but still useful, kinda.
Since we started this journey I've been searching some stuff up, and the only thing I'm getting is stuff on weird supernatural stuff, and that doesn't seem possible to me but it is an option I suppose.
We finally arrive at the site, Evan runs ahead, and I follow after him as well as I can, being short. Did he get faster? By now I'm out of breath already, so I stop for a second to catch my breathing and find my footing, I hear a twig snap within the trees, I look into the shadows and see a pair of eyes staring at me... I should be freaking out and running! But I don't I just stand there staring at this thing, until Evan comes back and snaps me out of the trance I was in. I snap my attention to Evan then back at the trees to see nothing, maybe I'm seeing things again. I turn back to Evan and start walking with him, and we slowly but surely make it to the site. I'm still out of it and trying to think of what that 'thing' could have been, I've never seen eyes like that before, they were a beautiful ruby red.
"It's not here, the body isn't here anymore, it's gone." Evan rushed the words out as if in a panic.
"Evan it can't be gone, it's a dead body, it can't just stand up and walk away." I say in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I swear it was here. You gotta believe me Sti!" Evan exclaimed, starting to sound exasperated.
"I know, I'm just messing with you. Maybe someone moved it. Actually now that I think of it, that's doesn't seem possible, too much dead weight, they wouldn't get very far." My explanation soon turning to a muttering.
"Whatever, let's just try to look for my wallet. Please?"
"Sure, also I did some research and I found something, it happens once every month, it's called lycanthropy."
"What's that? Is it like when you get your period?"
"No! It's you know... *fake howling*"
"Dude, seriously?! I'm serious about this!"
I looked at him in amusement, "I know, but it's literally the only thing that comes up. Anyway, in what general area did you drop your wall—"
"You know you can't be here right. This is private property..." he speaks aloud and then mumbles to himself "why do I recognize this situation?"
"Sorry! We were just looking for his wallet! We were on a run last night and he dropped it. Also we didn't realize it was private property, we didn't see any signs." I lie.
"It's fine, also you two seem familiar. Maybe I know your parents? What are your names?" He questioned.
I hear the rustling of branches from behind us and turn around but there's no one there. Strange.
I turn back to this mysterious man only to suddenly feel very sick and extremely dizzy. I soon regain my composure and begin speaking.
"I'm Claudia! Claudia Stilinski! But most people either call me Misha or Stiles. This is Evan McCall, my best friend." For a second he starred at us before speaking up.
"I thought you seemed familiar, I know you're parents, and I actually went to both weddings. It's nice to finally meet you."
