Death Game

Ugh my head is killing me that pre-test was no joke. I get up and head out the door only to be tackled.

"Big brother." A familiar voice cries out.

I look down and see Yukari hugging me tears rolling down her face. She was so excited to see me, it made me blush a little. "Hey you. What's up with the water works?" I asked

She smiled and wiped the tears away. "Cant I be happy to see you dummy?" She said.

"Well yeah of course you can be." I laughed. "C'mon let's grab some food, Mizore should be done here soon." I say

We walk past the cafeteria and head to a vending machine. Damn thing has so many of my favorite snack I end up grabbing a bag of cheetos, a snickers, and a honey bun.

"You want some thing sis?" I say grabbing my snacks.

She nods and points at the cheetos.

"Coming right up." I say

I hand her the bag and walk toward our usual spot.

"Wheres tenshi and kurumu?" Yukari asks.

"Funny I was about to ask you that."

She rolls her eyes. "Late as usual."

"Right." I laugh

We sit there catching up. Turns out she's been training as well her parents found a new spell tome for her to study. Says she got the call about the same time we did. Funny so that must mean that tenshi did too.

I feel cold arms around my neck. Mizore hugs me and sits down. That bad feeling I had finally left me but something feels off.

"Um excuse me." Soft voice asks from behind me.

I turn around. "Yes?"

"Is your name Zero?" She asked

I nod

"Can you help me?"

"I can try. What's wrong?"

"Theres this big guy he keeps bullying me. He takes my money and throws my books away from me. Do you think you could get him to leave me alone?" She asked as her eyes began to water.

"Hey. Sure. Just...what's your name?" She didnt look very old or like she could defend her self.

"A-Alice."

"Okay Alice wanna show me where this guy is?" I say as I stand up

She nods and grabs my wrist and leads me away from the girls.

Why do I feel like I know who this girl is? I feel like I've seen her before. She stops abruptly that I almost crash into her.

She points at a guy wearing a red checkered button up. Black Jean's torn at the knees. Spikey green hair. He noticed her pointing at him.

"What the hell are you pointing at girl. Better yet who the hell is this." He smirks

I put my arm up and gently push her behind me. "I'm no one to you but you better leave Alice alone." I say firmly

"Oh ho ho. The bitch has a name. I dont give two shits but she keeps me fed and amused so why the hell would I do that?" He pushes me

"Listen asshole. Put your hands on me again and you'll regret it." I threatened him

He walks away and waves his hand as if he wants me to follow him. Without thinking I follow.

We are in the middle of the forest away from the school. He stops and turns toward me.
