It was cold that morning. The morning that Marian had been brutally murdered in cold blood by whom? Her ex lover. Sir Guy of Gisborne. From then on, she hated him from deep in her heart. Maybe one day she would forgive him but it wasn't today.
As Vaisey, her father, told the captain to fetch their horses Guy grabbed her shoulder.
"Genevieve listen to me... Please." She had ignored the master in arms the entire ship ride from the holy land to Nottingham.
She wheeled around to face him, rage building up in her features.
"What is there to say Guy?! Tell me! To me, all there is to say is that you killed my best friend that I considered the ONLY person who gets me! You took her from me Guy and for that I shall never forgive you." She had angry tears in her eyes.
Guy was also angered now. No one has ever spoken to him like that.
"I did not plan on that happening! Do you think I would kill the woman I love purposely?! I was blinded with my rage knowing she loved someone else and the demon of my anger took over!" He shouted and Genevieve winced.
"You sicken me." She said lowly and walked away, her dark black dress flowing behind her as she mounted her horse, and without a second glance at Guy or her father, she dug her heels into the horses side and rode away towards the city of Nottingham.

Genevieve had planned on going straight to Nottingham but she couldn't leave without saying something to Robin.
Robin Hood was a notourious outlaw throughout all of England. Everyone had heard of his story.
She rode to the campsite to see Robin sitting against a tree, dried tears stained on his cheeks. She jumped off of her horse and their eyes met.
Fresh tears fell from the both of their faces and Genny ran to him, feeling comfort in his arms that had wrapped around her instantaneously.
They cried in eachothers embraces as sad as it may seem. It was comforting.
When they released eachother, Robin had stopped his tears but Genny ha lost control over hers. They flowed endlessly down her cheeks.
"I- I miss her so much." She said in barely a whisper.
Robin nodded, obviously he agreed because he was going to marry the woman.
Genevieve wondered what that felt like to have your heart ripped out and handed to you on a platter by your worst enemy, not meaning literally, that would be quite gruesome.
"Come with me." He said, standing from his position and holding his hand out for her to take.
She took his hand and they walked hand and hand towards the river. They stopped at a beautiful pink-leaved blossom tree.
Robin sighed and reached inside his jacket, unwrapping a ring that was hidden in cloth. Marian's ring.
"Her ring." She stated.
He met her eyes for a moment and nodded slightly. "Yeah. Its a memorial." He explained in a flat tone.
She nodded and watched as he pressed the tip of the ring to his lips and he made a hole in the soft soil and placed the ring there, covering it up.
"Come on, you should get back, Vaisey will have your head on a platter if he finds you out here." He said, also in a dull tone.
She nodded and placed a small kiss on his forehead and ran off towards her horse, who she found and rode off back to Nottingham.
