Chapter 10
Swords & Shields
--
Robin had liked Little Little John when he was John. Not Scar. He had explained that people had started calling him Scar after he wouldn't tell his name and he was named for the many scars he had collected.
"I'm still not getting something.. why did you want to kidnap Genevieve?" He inquired, still raging over how he had viciously attacked her twice now, so he had said.
"She is valuable. You can get a good price for a pretty wench like that." He said with a small smirk. Robin took that harshly and turned to face him, forecfully throwing a knife and landing it next to his head, the little knife clattering to the ground as it bounced off of the rock.
Scar didn't seem phased by it and Genevieve watched from the cave entrance, no one had noticed her arrival yet. Which was a good thing to her, she wanted to know how her friends would defend her.
"What? Upset that I tell you the truth. The lady came onto me like a wild animal. It took me all my power to resist her." Scar said, flashing a grin in her direction to follow his lie.
"Your lies are useless." Genevieve said with a a threatening glare. She has had enough with him. It was troubling her on how he was getting to Robin though. She noticed how she was the only thing that could let his guard down. She was Robin Hoods weakness.
All heads turned to her and she had all but forgotten the unending flow of blood down her forehead from being slammed against the wall. Robin nodded to John and he hesitated before knocking his own son unconcious.
John stayed behind while Robin room Genevieve by the arm and led her outside, where he didn't see that Tuck was still there, sharpening some of the groups weapons.
"It was foolish, what you did." He scolded her and she knew that he was right. There was probably a better way she could have approached Scar rather than the way she did. She remained silent, afraid that what would come out of her mouth would anger him even more.
"But at least you wounded him pretty badly. He won't be moving to much or putting up any fight after you stabbed him." He explained with a slight chuckled, then focused on her wounds, which still hasn't stopped bleeding and her vision constantly was going red with drops of blood.
"How did this happen?" He asked and she was confused for a moment. She had thought that he had come in when he slammed her against the wall. But apparently not.
"After I stabbed him, he found the strength to slam my head against the rock wall, then the next thing you know, I'm bleeding." She said with a small shrug and she could feel herself losing strength and begginning to get woozy and causing her to wobble at the knees.
"The bastard." Robin muttered as he inspected the wound that she had been inflicted but she could only see a blur. She felt herself going under.
"Robin-" She began before collapsing and the lasting she remembered was Robin catching her before she fell to the ground.

Guy woke up on the forest floor. He had been bested yet again but he would not, could not, go back without Robins head or the sheriff would most likely kill him.
He growled and got up, dusting the dirt and dried leaves off of his leather jacket and continued his search for Robin, soon relocating his horse and galloping back to retrace his steps, going back to the cave that he had found quite suspicious. But then he had found Robin.
He approached and saw the monk sitting outside the cave while some of the men were inside dealing with some important matter, then he saw something that caught his eye. Her hair. Her bright blonde hair swaying in the wind was she was being carried towards the cave in the arms of Robin.
He growled. How dare he touch her! He didn't understand why he got defensive but he had this burning feeling of jealousy in his heart but he knew it was wrong to think such things. Of course Genevieve would never be involved with a man like Hood, especially an outlaw.
"Hood!" He shouted and Robin muttered something unaudible to himself and gave Genevieve to Tuck, who evaded inside the cave. Robin turned to face him, obviously not in the mood.
"Are you going to cut your own head off or am I going to have to do it for you?" He taunted and Robin drew his sword.
"I don't know. Are you going to knock yourself out again or am I going to have to do that for you, again?" He shot back, with a sly grin and a chuckle.
"Fair enough." Guy stated, which really didn't make sense to Robin but he didn't care, he had one main priority at the moment and that was to protect Genevieve.
Robin sheathed his sword, noticing Much approaching from behind and stoning Guy quickly in the back of the head, and he fell unconcious for the third time in a row.
"This is getting to easy." Robin muttered and had Much and Will haul Guy back to Nottingham and he went back into the cave to attend to the matters at hand. Genny and Scar.
It was going to be a long night, and they haven't even had dinner yet.
