It was dark by the time Guy had arrived in Nottingham with Genny. He found it extremely difficult to carry someone and ride a horse at the same time. It wasn't impossible though so he made it work. He didn't trust anyone else to carry her.
He looked down at her features. For once, they looked peaceful.
Only once had he seen her happy and that was when they were riding in the forest soon after she had forgiven him. The thought of her forgiveness brought up his memory of Marian and he shuttered.
Meanwhile, Genevieve was getting impatient and restless. She had been pulling the act of being passed out for a while now. She decided it was a good time to wake up.
She started with a small groan and her eyes lazily fluttering open to reveal Guy, who wasn't even paying attention to her. She stirred slightly and thats when he looked down at her, then held up a hand and all the horses stopped.
She wondered for a minute, why hadn't Robin done anything to practically save her? And why was Guy here? Wasn't he suppose to be with the Sheriff, her father, who didn't even say goodbye before he rushed off.
"Guy? What are you doing here?" She asked first off.
"I came back. The sheriff, or should I just call him Vaisey now, was unable to satisfy my requirements so I left early yesterday with him unaware. You're looking at Nottingham a new Sheriff." He explained.
She blinked, still processing what he had just said. How was she going to tell Robin? He would be furious. She sat up and slid off of the horse. Guy furrowed his brow, wondering what he might of said wrong.
"Where are you going?" He asked her as she paced.
"I'm not going anywhere, its just that you and my father leave without a word to me and now you're sheriff and, I'll say it again, my father isn't coming back." She said, upset even if her father was possibly the worst man she had ever met, she was still related to him.
"That doesn't matter though... Out with the old, in with the new." He said with a sly smirk. Thats when she snapped.
"Well, Sheriff," She spat. "heres something new, I'm in love with Robin Hood! Oh, but I guess that isn't new for you, you've been through this before, right?" She hissed and swung herself onto an empty horse and galloped back into Sherwood.
[ a/n - who saw that coming? like my wordplay back there huh^ Marian just keeps coming back to bite him in the ass huh?]

As Genevieve rode she let one tear fall, knowing she had betrayed him deeply and made one giant enemy. She was now probably way up there with Robin on the wanted list in Guys mind right now. She was off in the woods to find Robin again now.
She rode to their first camp to see if they were back and moved in there but they were no where to be found in that camp. She shrugged and figured that they were still at the cave and rode there next, dismounting again and checking the area, seeing no signs of life. Not even a track in the dirt.
She sighed, not knowing where they could be now. She hopped back on the horse and found the path again that led through the forest and walked along it.
She had just about given up on looking for him and his group when a large woven net was dropped around her whilst the horse bolted and she was yanked into the air in the net. She let out a small squeal and heard a clatter of metal as an alarm for her trap.
She panicked slightly but in the depths of her mind she felt as if it could of been one of Robins traps but you never know. It could be one of the traps from when the old Sheriff had set them up for Robin.
She heard a small chuckled from the bottom of the tree she was tangled up in and she looked down to see none other than Robin, leaning against the giant tree.
"I thought about cutting you down but this was far more amusing." He said with a goofy grin spread across his face, which earned him a scolding look from her.
"Let me down, will ya?" She said with a shake of her head as she stared down at him.
He shrugged. "As you wish." He untied the rope and soon she was falling through the air but the ground never hit her. She was caugh by Robin and he set her on her feet.
"Thank you." She said with a nod.
"Now, let me explain why I'm back so soon." She began.
