Stress In The Binds

"If I had a real leg, I'd shove it so far up your ass that the sweat from my knee would quench your thirst!" Eta shouted agressively, looking up at the Director, who just clentched his jaw shut, clearly agrivated by the constant insults coming from the almost-child like AI, who was glaring up at him in the box-like structure that allowed them to roam out side of their storage unit, but kept them confined inside, not letting them leave.

Eta's twin -Zeta- was pacing back and forth, his 'arms' crossed over his chest, occasionally glancing up at the Director, over at the Counselor, then back to facing forward. It was rather obvious who was the more 'mature' of the two twins. At least on his outward behaviour. Maybe not in his thoughts.

The red AI -Kappa- leaned against the wall, silent, glaring at the Director, his arms crossed over his chest. He just... stood there, unmoving.

The green AI -Omicron-sat on the base of the container, shifting through bits of information on a screen-like thing he had made, watching as the data passed through it, forming tiny print that the Director couldn't see from where he stood.

The other set of 'twins' -Lambda and Pi- both sat cross-legged on the ground, bouncing back a little ball of data back and forth, the color shifting from pink to light blue as it neared one or the other. When they got excessively bored, the ball would change shapes quickly in midair, faster than the director could see, and then transform back into a simple ball.

Zeta stopped beside his brother, looking up at the Director, silently. His silence was even more threatening than Eta's agressiveness, even though he could not do much within the confines of their 'cell' of sorts. He just stared up at the Director, not moving in the slightest.

The Director opened his mouth to speak, but Eta snapped at him. "Shut it, you four-eyed black-haired bastard," He crossed his arms over his chest. The Director let out an exasperated sigh, looking over at the more mature of the oldest set of twins in the group.

He didn't bother saying anything. As they are, he wouldn't be able to say a word without getting interupted by Eta. He turned on his heel, walking out of the room, ignoring Eta's insults and rather agressive pleading to be let out of their cell.

"What did the scans show, Counselor?" He asked, making his way back to his office, the Counselor following right behind him, that tablet like thing held in the crook of his arms.

He glanced down towards the tablet, reading something or another, then looked back up at the Director, who was just looking ahead. "The scans say that there is nothing wrong with them. They indicate that there is nothing off about them, besides..." He trailed off, continuing to read.

"Besides what?" The Director questioned, merely casting a glance back at the other man.

"Just minor fluctuations in the data stream. Nothing that would cause major changes in them,"

"When the team arrives, do you think they will be ready to be reimplanted with them once again?" The Director asked, alreadly knowing what he was going to do, even if it it was against the Counselor's statement.

"Yes. I see no reason to keep them seperated," He responded, nodding to himself.

"Good. When the team arrives, make sure to send them straight to the operation room," The Director finished, entering his office, the door closing automatically behind him.

"Wait, what? What did you say about me?" I asked, arching a brow as I stood up, looking up at Alaska. I heard all the others chuckle as they watched us 'argue'. He just chuckled, looking down at me, a devious smirk on his face.
