(Riley's P.O.V.)
”Can You Believe It Maya! Here we are on the subway, going to school for the second time," I said extremely happily.
"What No," Maya sarcastically said, “Really!"
"You don't have to be so rude about it Maya," I tried explaining to her.
"Yes I know Riley, I just don't get why it has to be such a big deal for you."
"You have done this a million times before Maya, not me this is only my second time. It is a big accomplishment. I'm surprised you didn't know I was going to do this."
"Oh I certainly knew you were going to do this Riley, I was just hoping you wouldn’t”
"Well I did so joke is on you. HAHAHAHA..."
There was a pause of silence.
All I could think about right now was that cute. Dreamy boy with perfect eyes I saw yesterday, Lucas. He was PERFECT!!! I even dreamed about him last night, Me Becoming Mrs. Riley Friar. All I know about him is that we have History together, he is smart, and that he is very very very CUTE! Oh and also his name is Lucas Friar, isn't that just a dreamy name.
“Do you think he going to be on the subway today?" I asked Maya.
“I don't know, but why do you really care that much anyways." She replied with some sass in her tone.
"Maybe because he is going to be my future husband and i need to know where he is at all times. I mean really Maya don't you know that me and Lucas are very exclusive."
"Seriously Riley calm down you talked him for barely ten minutes yesterday."
"I'm hoping for twenty today," I said eagerly," Do you think that is to much?"
"I don't really know, but start adding up the minutes right now."
I turn around to see him walking onto the subway and taking his usual seat. (Which he has only sat in once, that I know of)
I start walking towards him, fixing my hair and making sure my outfit is in place. As i get closer this girl sits down in my spot, the spot that I sat in yesterday talking to Lucas before this lady takes it.
I didn't know what to do, so I just stood there. I watched them hit it off with each other I knew there was a connection between them because they were talking to each other. A boy and a girl talking is like changing your status from Single to In A Relationship.
I slowly started walking backwards thinking about the breakup between me and Lucas, It was devastating. I turned around and looked at Maya
"Who is that girl,” I asked Maya.
