"Are you that hungry?"

Taehyung finally lifted his head up to look at me after greedily taking a bite of the hamburger he was holding. "I told you you don't feed me with your kisses—"

I raised my hand in front of his face, signaling him to stop. "I honestly hate you."

Taehyung gave me his lopsided grin, amusement glinting in his eyes as he pulled my hand down. "Oh, but you love me."

I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my hot chocolate. If you think I would never blush because of his words, then you've got it wrong. No matter how annoying he is and how I see him as just a friend, his flirtatiousness never fails to make me blush.

So, can you imagine the struggle when you're friends with this guy?

"So, since you love me so freaking much, why don't you come with me tonight?" He took a big bite of the hamburger and munched it while talking to me. I watched as the sauce smeared his pinkish lips and had the strange urge to swipe it off, but of course, I held it back.

"No. I'm busy," I lied nonchalantly.

"If by 'busy' you mean lying on your bed for hours just to watch Netflix, then you'd better change your mind, cupcake."

Damn, he knows me too well.

"So, want to tell me what's so important that I had to leave the comfort of my bed just to spend the night with you?" I asked, putting the straw between my lips.

"Suga's throwing a party." I raised one eyebrow at him. I didn't find anything important in his sentence that would make me need to attend. "Oh, come on! Everyone knows what it means when the Great Suga throws a party," he whined.

"Well, unfortunately, I don't."

Taehyung rolled his eyes and came to sit next to me. "He rarely throws a party, and when he does, it's going to be so damn lit! Come on, just this time, please." Oh no, not this again! Don't pull that face in front of me—

Then he pouted with his puppy eyes. "For me?"

I sighed. "I'm worried I'll have to say no."

"This year is your senior year, cupcake, and yet you still haven't gone to any of these parties." He insisted, looking me deep in the eyes. "What if one day you get married and your children ask you about your high school parties? Unless you're married to me, I'm sure you'll regret not going to this one."

This time I couldn't help but laugh at him. "Are you seriously pulling this now?" I laughed again and clutched my stomach, bearing with the pain.

Taehyung pouted again. "So, are you coming or not?"

"Nope."

Taehyung sighed.

This party is going to be my first and last, so I'd better forget about my nerdy self and enjoy.

My phone beeped, and I didn't need to check to know it was Taehyung. I picked up my phone from the bed while my other hand was busy putting on my 4-inch boots.

"Tsk." I scoffed and looked at myself one last time.

I had on form-fitting black leggings, black leather ankle boots, and a black off-the-shoulder top that cut off at my midsection, allowing the fake stone of my belly ring to gleam in the light.
