[Song of the Chapter: Run by BTS]
---------------------------
Jinyoung and I met up with his friends. I don't know if I like them or not yet.
Like, they're attractive but there's like three of them that are still in middle school while we are in high school...
Maybe I shouldn't judge too much...
Jinyoung found himself staring at the gates. He didn't know why maybe it was just because there were more interesting people that were coming in since it was December.
Jaebum's mom had already flown in from Thailand where Bambam's parents had invited her to visit and she'd come in earlier to say hello to her son and his best friend.
"Yah," Jaebum called before slapping Jinyoung on the head, "Wake up from your daydreaming. We still have customers until 5."
He rolled his eyes but did start to make the drinks to help Mark, who was working now part-time as a barista. Something felt off today. Had he woken up on the wrong side of the bed?
He had been dreaming strange dreams lately, where he was always with this really attractive sandy-blonde boy that had sometimes had soft features like a painting when he was smiling but sharp and jagged handsomeness when he got serious.
Jinyoung wasn't going to lie, he really was starting to like being asleep more and more.
He knew that he had been in an accident earlier that year but he didn't know how or why. Mark had told him that they couldn't say anything, as the doctor would say it was more traumatic to talk about it and may even make his condition worse.
Jaebum, while scolding Jinyoung to work, let his eyes drift outside of the glass of the cafe and locked on two people that he hadn't seen in so long. He slapped Mark slightly on the back with the menu he was holding.
The elder turned with annoyance but when the older couple walked into the cafe, he found himself standing in shock.
He couldn't face them and turned back to his work.
Jaebum, on the other hand, straightened his back and walked over to the couple as they sat down.
"Mr. Wang. Mrs. Wang. It's been a while. Here are your menus."
After about an hour of working hard, Jinyoung went on break and sat in a chair, scrolling through his gallery to see if there was anything there that could possibly help him with why he was feeling so out of it today.
He saw pictures. Pictures of the same person that was in his dream.
They were close in the pictures, some even being the two of them staring at each other with brilliant white smiles.
His eyebrows screwed together when he saw that the two of them had gone to Hong Kong.
There, they were holding hands and kissing, the pictures were telling the story of a close, intimate relationship that made Jinyoung start to cry.
He didn't really start crying until he came across one photograph that squeezed his heart tightly like someone was strangling it.
Him and the boy were on the balcony of a hotel bedroom, against the starry sky, and the person he couldn't remember was there.
Down on his knee.
Mark noticed the sobbing Jinyoung quickly, pulling him into the back of the cafe with Jaebum, leaving the other employees dazed and confused but working regardless.
