Chapter 14: Penny's Doom & Depression

As Penny lays down on her summer house couch, crying over the deaths of her boyfriend and friends and being exposed by being the one responsible for Thea's bullying and suicide; Penny thinking that Thea's spirit has left, Penny tries to turn on the tv but it doesn't turn on. Then she's thinking if she should call the authorities or be depressed in her totally guilt. Because she thinks they're not going to believe a ghost killed her friends and she'll get the blame. Penny then even tries to kill herself by getting her kitchen knife and stab herself in the chest, but she has second thoughts as then Thea's ghost slowly wraps her arms around her and Penny quickly turns around and sees Thea right in her face and then Thea turns into her ghost form and lunges at Penny, attacking her as though she's raping her.

A week later, Penny is sent to a mental hospital. The Dean from her college Sandy Barns visits Penny at the hospital. Penny's therapist tells Dean Barns that Penny said that she saw Thea Smith's ghost and it killed her friends because they were responsible for bullying and that Penny said she was the main one responsible of plotting to humiliating her which caused her friends to bully her. Dean Barns is actually believing Penny's therapist. The therapist also says Penny is in a paralyzed state. She hasn't talked in over a week, but she is eating some. Thea's ghost put the fear in her, paralyzing her with trumatiesment. Dean Barns feels so sorry for Penny. She goes in Penny's room to see her. Penny moves and talks to Barns slowly, crying saying its her fault that Thea ended her life and that I got my friends killed. The police exampled Ralph, Sid, Tara, Minerva and Nick's bodies and Penny's fingerprints were not on their bodies and so she's been dropped of the charges of murder. Then Penny tells Barns that Thea killed them. Dean Barns tries to comfort Penny as she cries softly. Dean says "its alright". You didn't meant for Thea to be killed. Penny have you seen Thea's ghost recently"?
Penny says; "not since that last Friday before last. She must have crossed over to the other side. I don't deserve to live."
"No, no. Don't say that. Penny, we all mistakes. Hun, why did you do that to Thea?" says Dean.
"I guess I hanged out with my other daily friends too long now. Now that I got sick of Thea because like Tara said.......... Thea was too annoying. But I did love Thea like a sister." says Penny.
As Dean Barns prays for Penny to get well, she leaves and promises Penny she'll visit her twice a week. Penny is relieved, but worried now about her reputation at the start of her sophomore year at college, if everybody there knows that Penny is responsible for Thea's suicide. And also Thea's parents will know too. As Penny goes to sleep, Thea's ghost appears in her room, but Penny doesn't notice. Then Thea flees to Dean Barns' car. As Dean starts her car she gets a text message on her phone. She looks and reads it that says.......

"why didn't you get the help that I needed? Help like: school counselors! You're just as guilt as Penny", from Thea Smith."
