Where the hell is Slim?

I was losing my mind. Casie still hadn't woken up and it was making me a nervous wreck. I went to the restroom for like 10 minutes and this happened to my baby girl. I just wish she'd wake up. I decided to walk back into the waiting room.

"It's been like 4 and half hours. Why hasn't she woken up?"

"Kells, shes gonna wake up. Just give her time." Ashleigh replied.

"And wheres Slim. He's been gone for like 2 hours." I spoke too soon because here he was walking toward us but I could notice someone walking behind him.

"Colson!" She said hugging me.

"Jane, when did you get here?" I asked as everyone but Tiffany got up and went down the hall for snacks.

"Just a while ago. Slim flew me here and don't be mad at him. I had to come when I heard what happened."

"Do you wanna go see her?"

"Yes"

When we walked in Jane went to Casie's side and held her hand. I could tell she really cared for her. She laid her head on her chest and I saw Casie's eye start to move.

"Casie." I said walking to the other side of the bed. She began to wine.

"Daddy, my head really hurts." She cried.

"I know. You hurt yourself at the park today. Look who came to see you."

"Jane, is it really you?"

"Yes, baby its me how do you feel?"

"I hurt all over."

I stuck my head out and the doctor came in the check on her. He checked her out to make sure she could still move her feet and other arm. After he was finished we were told Casie could go home tomorrow. We told everyone the good news and everyone including Tiffany decided they would leave.

"Bye babe, I love you." Tiffany said as she gave me a hug and kiss staring at Jane.

"Bye." I said as she walked out.

"Haha, is she jealous of me or something?" Jane asked.

"Shit probably. She's jealous of Casie."

"Really, why even keep her around then?"

"Just something to do when there's nothing to do I guess." I chuckled

"So how long you staying?" I asked

"As long as I want. I quit my job at M.A.C. last week, so I have nothing to rush back to unless Hailey needs me."

"Cool, so where you staying at?"

"No where as of now. I came straight here from the airport. As a matter of fact I need to text Slim he has my bags."

"Its cool, I'll have them set you up a guest room."

"You dont have to do that."

"Yes, he does. I wanna show you all my new toys!" Casie said

Jane and I both started laughing.

The next day we went home and everyone was downstairs waiting for Casie.

"Hey Cas." Tiffany said hugging Casie

Casie looked so uncomfortable. Maybe she just didn't care for her.

"I wanna go to my room to play. Jane will you come too."

"Yes I will"

The two of them ran upstairs and I went into my room which was down the hall.

"What's your deal? You've been acting funny since she got her." Tiffany questioned.

"Tiff, what the fuck you talking about?"

"The two of you act like you've got something going on."

"Man, you trippin!"

"Whatever, she better stay away from my man. Thats all I know." She spat
