Part 3: Manhid
Rumors surfaced about Alyssa and Jovee's break up, many questions and theories arose while the former couple remained mum. For the meantime, Kiefer would attend to Alyssa whenever he is free and Mika understands because they are Bestfriends.
"Feeling better? Sayang, natalo kayo against PAF kahapon. But you did great kahit may sakit ka." Kiefer said, he is at the gym today with Alyssa who is sick.
Alyssa smiled weakly, "Thanks, but I know I let a lot of people down. Everyone wanted Ateneo to make it, kaso nagkulang ako." She blamed herself, the latter pats her shoulder signalling that everything will be okay. "Yet, it was a good experience." She adds with a sigh of relief.
"People don't win always, okay na ang 5-0 run, malaking bagay na 'yun. Bawi sa UAAP." He smiled, "I like how you manage to smile despite what happened."
"I want to stay positive, mas lumaya nga ako ngayong wala na siya but the pain is still there."
"Huwag mong madaliin ang sarili mo, dahan-dahan lang dapat." He reminds and Alyssa nodded. He checked the time and noticed it was already past 8, napatagal ang tambay nila, "Hatid na kita sa Dorm, you need rest, training niyo pa bukas."
They took their bags and walked towards Eliazo, Kiefer gave Alyssa a hug and kiss on her forehead before leaving.
Alyssa went inside and Den, Ella, Amy and Bea were all sitting on the sofa, probably waiting for her. "San ka galing?" They all asked.
"Nag-stay kami ni Kiefer sa BEG saglit." Alyssa said and they nodded without asking furthermore, "Akyat na ako, good night." She adds and they bid 'good night' to her.
"Bakit pakiramdam kong mahal niya parin si Aly?" Ella asked herself when Alyssa entered their room upstairs, all of them were deaf to hear the question since they were focused on the TV screen, "Narinig niyo ba ako?" She asked again with clearer voice.
"'Yun pa! Halata kaya sa kilos ni Kiefer, malas nga lang dahil nandyan na si Mikang." Den said, "I have nothing against Mika though."
"Naka'y Ate Ly na 'yun, diba Crush niya si Kuya Kiefer dati? Anong nangyari at naglaho nung umeksena si Unggoy?" Tanong ni Bea at natawa silang apat dahil sa kanyang tawag kay Jovee.
"Tingin niya hindi siya matitipuhan ni Kiefer, at nung pumasok si Jovee, dun unting lumaho ang feelings niya kay Kiefer." Bulgar ni Amy at tumawa ulit silang apat, "Si Kiefer naman ang consistent, unang kita palang kay Alyssa, kumikinang ang mata sa kilig. Teka? Ako lang ba nakapansin nun? Naalala mo ba 'yung sa bola Ella?"
"Oo, hindi ata alam ni Kiefer kung gaano ka-liwanag ang mata niya. Nog nog pa si Ly nun." Sabi ni Ella na may halong pang-asar.
"Nagsalita ang maputi!" Biro ng tatlo.
"Nagkwento lang, matulog na nga tayo!" Pagtigil ni Ella at tumawa ang tatlo.
THREE DAYS LATER: AUGUST 23, 2014
Today is UAAP Beach Volleyball, and part of Ateneo's squad are Maraguinot, Morente and Valdez. Jhoana and Michelle are going to be the Starters while Alyssa will be sitting as a reserve, due to experience purposes. Ateneo went against Adamson and won in three straight sets to start their Season, Kiefer is also spotted along with Chris Newsome watching the girls play.
After the game, Kiefer approached them to congratulate, "Nice game, girls!" He said.
"Thank you, Kuya!"
"Salamat, Kief."
Jhoana and Mich excused themselves to approach the other teammates, Kiefer hugs Alyssa and smiles at her, "Galing mo, kahit third set ka lang pinasok."
