Jade woke up from her sleep because she heard an incoming message on her cellphone. She groaned and then got up to check it.
Jade meet me at Starbucks opposite the bookstore. I hope you have spare time today. How about 3 o'clock?
Jade frowned reading the message. 'Today is my first day working in part time job and I can't be late when for my first day. And at 3, I just finished my shift at the cafe, so it was impossible for me to meet him even though the location was very close', thought Jade.
Sorry it looks like I can't for today. What if I let you know later? , replied Jade.
Not long after there was a reply to the message.
I understand. Please let me know as soon as possible. See you Jade.
After reading the message, Jade put her cellphone on the bedside table then looked at Perrie who was still asleep. Jade smiled and brushed the strand of hair from Perrie's face. Jade decided to make breakfast for Perrie this time because she knew Perrie would wake up anytime soon because as usual every morning Perrie would experience morning sickness. Jade got up from the bed and headed for the kitchen.
Jade decided to make scramble egg, sausages and bacon for Perrie. While making a scramble egg, Jade heard footsteps running and knew that it was Perrie. Not long after she heard the sound of vomiting and then she sighed. She turned off the stove and put scramble eggs on each plate with sausages and bacons on it. She then went to the bathroom to checked on Perrie and saw Perrie already about to get out of the bathroom.
"Oh morning Pez, have you finished? I just wanted to check on you and inform you that breakfast is ready", I smiled at her.
She smiled back, "Thank you Jade and morning".
Then Jade and Perrie walked towards kitchen for breakfast. After breakfast, Jade prepares to go to work. Before leaving, Jade approached Perrie.
"Perrie, I have to go now, as usual you will be okay right?", Jade asked.
"I'll be okay Jade", she assured Jade.
Jade and Perrie were silent for a while until finally Jade looked at Perrie then started leaning in.
Jade's pov
I started leaning in as well as Perrie, until finally our lips met and we kissed softly at first until it getting more heat up. After tongue battle, Perrie finally gave up and let me win. We pulled away and I pecked Perrie's lips again. I looked at her blushing face and then chuckled.
"I gotta go now love and I'll be home a little late today. I'll buy dinner for us," I informed her. She nodded and then I left for work.
When I arrived at the cafe where I worked, I saw customers already queuing up and ordering and Jesy was the one who taking the orders. I frowned and then approached Jesy.
"Jes why are you alone? Where is Leigh?", I asked confused.
"She's a little late today and I have to leave for a while, I hope you can handle this yourself Jade, please?", Jesy pleaded.
"Well you can go, I take it from here. Be careful, Jes", I told her and I immediately served the customers.
"I owe you Jade, thank you again", Jesy told me then walked out of the cafe.
It's been almost 1 hour and Leigh hasn't arrived yet. I began to worry and just when I was about to call her, she suddenly stumbled to the cafe and ran towards me.
"Whoa Jade forgive me, I'm so so late today. I have to do something first this morning," she said.
I just waved her off, "nah no problem Leigh, Jesy will understand".
She looked at me with wide eyed, "I have to apologize to her later and hope she doesn't fire me".
I laughed at Leigh's words, "she's is not here at the moment, she'll come back later".
"Where did she go?", asked Leigh. I just shrugged and went to the tables to clean it up.
While I was cleaning up the table, I kept thinking of buying Perrie a cellphone so we could communicate and I didn't want Perrie to be so worried when I came home late like yesterday.
"What's on your mind Thirlwall?", Leigh asked, shocking me.
"Stop doing that, you scared me", I glared at her. Then I looked around and there were only few customers in the cafe now. And then Leigh approached me.
"Well it's not my fault because you keep cleaning the same table for about 5 minutes now, you almost break the table", she chuckled.
"Leigh I keep thinking about buying Perrie a cellphone but it seems like I don't have time to do it", I said.
She saw me with smirk on her face, "You like her very much huh? Have you asked her out yet?", she asked.
I groaned, "no not yet, I'm busy now Leigh, I don't even have time to go to the store to buy her a cellphone", I said frustrated.
"Eh Jade actually you have. I got a text from Sam, he said today the bookstore was closed because the owner went out of town and the owner carried away the key as well", she told me.
"Really Leigh? Thanks for telling me. I can buy Perrie handphone after work later," I said.
"Eh Jade back on the topic, you really like Perrie huh? You have to ask her out soon Jade", Leigh told me.
"I really want to Leigh but ...".
"No buts ask her out today and you can give her the cellphone as a surprise when you two on date," said Leigh.
"I could have asked her today. But it means I can't buy her a cellphone because if we go on a date and before that I drop by to the shop to buy her a cellphone, she definitely refuses it Leigh and it is no longer a surprise for her" I said to Leigh.
Leigh thought for a moment then said, "You can go now and use my car so you don't need to worry she will reject the date and the surprise you will give to her".
"But what about the cafe, Leigh?" I asked.
"Now I can cover for awhile, after all just think of this as the payback for this morning. Now leave before Jesy returns", she said to me and gave the keys to her car. I smiled at her and took the key and walked out of the cafe to Leigh's car.
