Jade's pov
I woke up and looked beside me then kissed Perrie's head who still asleep. I saw the clock, it showed half 9 and it meant I had to be quick if I don't want to be late for work. I got up and get ready for work as fast as I could then ran toward the cafe. I walked into the cafe and greeted by Leigh.
"Hi Jade morning", she said.
"Morning Leigh, where's Jesy? Is she still asleep or something?", I chuckled.
Then out of nowhere Jesy appeared and smacked the back of my head.
"Oi watch your mouth Jade, I'm not like you, I woke up early every morning", she smirked. I rolled my eyes at her then helped Leigh serve customers.
When rush hour passed, I made 2 cups of coffee, one for me and one for Leigh. I gave Leigh her cup then I sat beside her and sipped my coffee.
"Perrie has her appointment in 2 days. What should I do?", I asked them.
Jesy looked at me weird, "Are you okay? Or just stupid?", she asked.
Leigh just laughed at Jesy's comment and I glared at her.
"Well Jade you can just come with her and be a good girlfriend", Leigh said calmly.
I groaned, "no I understand that part".
"Then why did you ask? You are absolutely a moron", Jesy exclaimed.
"No listen up I just nervous because it could be our last appointment and because she wanted to find out the gender on the last appointment it makes me so nervous I don't know why", I explained.
They looked at me suspicious then finally Jesy laughed.
"What's so funny?", I asked annoyed.
"Well I didn't know you have such a parent mode like that, don't worry my child you'll be good parent to perrie's kid", Jesy pat my shoulder.
I rolled my eyes, "you guys are idiots, why am I even friend with you two?", I looked at them then we laughed.
I heard my phone ringing, I looked at the caller id and it was Victor. I excused myself to answer the call.
"Yes?", I asked him.
"Jade I need to take you to South Shield right now it's urgent", he said frantically.
"What? What's wrong?", I asked.
" I'll explain to you later now I'm waiting in front of your cafe you better hurry", he hang up after that.
I frowned and approached Jesy. "Jess I'll call day off early, is it okay?", I asked her.
"What? Why? Is something wrong? Who was on the phone?", she asked.
I tried to answer, "Uh it's ..." but Leigh cut me off, "it must be Perrie you know when you pregnant you get horny all the time and can't handle it", she smirked and I groaned.
Jesy wided her eyes then smack my ass, "go get her then!". I rolled my eyes at them then walked out from the cafe to Victor's car.
I opened his car door and get in. "What the hell Victor you scared the shit out of me!", I told him. He just smiled at me then started driving.
"The company face this problem and I can't solve it, I need your help because I know you're such a smartass", he said calmly.
Then he continued, "and it will be your chance to visit your mom".
My breath hitched, I just now realized that I'm going back to my hometown without any preparations and I am not ready at all. I gulped and looked out the window.
"Tell me what happened to her", I asked.
He sighed, "your parents' car has been sabotaged by someone that's why when 2 cars tried to chase your parents' car and when it was finally at descend road the brake didn't work and it crashed to the roadside cliff.' Your father survived but your mother...", I looked at him and he tried to hold back his tears but I already felt my own tears on my cheeks. I wiped it then we just silent for awhile.
"Your mother wants you to be happy and live your life, she knew that you have found a girl and she lives with you now. She blessed your relationship with her if you want to marry her one day", he told me. I cried harder but frowned, 'how did she know about Perrie?', I still had no idea how. But Perrie 'oh screw me I forgot about her and we almost at the South Shield.
I tried to calm myself before I called Perrie. Once I calmed down, I pulled out my phone and rang Perrie's number.
"How about you? How's your life going?", Victor asked me suddenly.
I ignored him because Perrie answered immediately, "yes Jade?", she asked.
"Perrie I uh I need to do something important and it's urgent so I think I won't be home for awhile", I explained to her nervously.
"With Leigh and Jesy?", she asked again.
"I yeah", I lied to her God I am bad girlfriend ever.
"When will you be home?", she asked quietly. God I felt guilty.
" I'll tell you again later okay, I love you", I told her.
"I love you too, stay safe", she replied then hung up. I know she must be sad but I think she bought my excuse. I looked at my uncle and he looked at me weird then smiled so big.
"Not now I'll tell about it later", I told him and he just shrugged and continue driving.
Victor parked the car then we get out of the car. He led the way and I followed him, not long after, he stopped in front of the tomb that written my mother's name. I bent down and cried silently. When I calmed down, I stood up and walked back to the car, Victor drove the car to the company building my family owned.
