The second boy that made her heart flutter was a handsome next door boy who had moved to Seoul when he turned sixteen to finish his schooling. He was one of the most handsome man that she had ever met, well of course after her 'husband' but that is another story to tell. The next door young man had entered Yein's life when she turned fifteen, when her heart managed to let Namjoon go.
Kim Seokjin
The said young man had popped in and out of Yein's life but he made most evident and grand appearance just after she turned fifteen. He occasionally had dinner at Yein's household and often played with Yein and Hyoin when he did come over, as they were quite attached to him since he mused them. Seokjin often babysat them as well when Yein's parents had to go to certain events or if they just wanted a night out without the two girls by their side. Yein started to get super close to the elder when he came over and cooked for their family and Yein would always help him.
"Oppa, aren't you scared of cutting your finger off or something?" Yein asked while holding the knife, "Like what if your thumb appeared in the stew?"
"Well, that why you practise a lot and you cut slowly." The young man gently covered his bigger hand over Yein's smaller, back pressed against his chest.
"Here, I'll show you."
Yein felt her heart flutter by their proximity and she couldn't help but notice how much smaller she was to the young adult. Seokjin gently placed pressure on Yein's hand which successfully sliced the cucumber and did it a few times to show her again.
"Yah, oppa I think I've got the hang of it!" Yein exclaimed.
Seokjin walked over and observed the vegetables that Yein cut and clicked his tongue. "Yah, they're all different shapes! Look at Myunguennie its all symmetrical and perfect!"
Myungeun who was next to Yein blushed profoundly at the compliment and Yein couldn't help but tease the elder who stuttered out a thank you. Yein noticed that Myungeun seemed to lose the ability to comprehend any sentences or even make them when she was within the range of her next door neighbour. Yein chuckled at the sight and she approved the couple, thinking how cute Myungeun became next to Seokjin and how their height difference was adorable.
Yein's attention switched to her phone where she received a text from Jungkook.
Jeon: Hey, you don't need to worry about picking up Hyoin since I finished early and I have an umbrella so ill take her home.
Jung: Thank youuuu! You're the best!!!!
Jeon: I better be, it's so fucking cold and I could be sleeping in my own bed but here I am picking up your little sister. >:( !!
Jung: I'll buy you banana milk next time xx
Jeon: Call!
"Your next door neighbour is so hot." Myungeun quietly whispered into Yein's ear which the younger smiled ear to ear.
"Does Myungeunie have a crush on Seokjinne oppa?"
"N-no... shut up..." Myungeun blushed and Yein smirked evilly. The older was so easy to read.
"Come on, I'll even set you guys up." Yein winked and Myungeun bit her lips, looking down at her fingers.
"I-i... I thought you liked Seokjin oppa..."
Yein blinked, she was surprised that Myungeun remember something so trivia that Yein mentioned almost a month ago. Yein came out to her friends saying she liked someone again when Seokjin started to teach her how to cook and spent a lot of his time over the Jung's residence.
