Chapter 7

I woke up the next morning and looked at the clock on my bed side table, 5:12. I had only gotten about 5 hours of sleep but whatever. I had to do morning chores. I went to move but was restricted from movement by 2 arms. I turned over to see Niall out cold. I smiled and gently kissed his forehead before moving from my bed. I hopped out of bed and walked into Kylie's room. I pushed her off the bed.

"Wake up! Roxanne's waiting! Time for chores!" I whisper-yelled because of everyone else sleeping. She just groaning and rolled onto her back to face me. She glared at me and I gave her a hand off the floor. We walked into the bathroom, washed our faces and brushed our teeth and hair, before walking out into the living room.

We walked into the living room and smiled at the 4 sleeping boys sprawled out across the floor and couches. We walked out the door shutting it closed behind us and started down to the pastures, chatting quietly. I still was not ready to talk about me and Niall.

She grabbed Roxanne and I grabbed Ava and Maddie. We led them into the bar and into their stalls. I dumped their grain, that I mixed last night, into the feed buckets. They munched happily while Kylie gave them each 2 flakes of hay to keep them busy for the day and walked back to the main house.

I had a doctors appointment to get cleared to finally ride again. I was so excited. I had kept my stomach, arms, and legs tan and strong by swimming for a couple hours each day. Swimming also helped me escape everything even though I was not a fan of water or swimming. I was my back-up plan because I could not ride.

Kylie and I arrived at the main house to find everyone about to eat breakfast. Kristen was bringing me to the doctors because she also had a check-up to make sure the baby was okay.

After breakfast I went to my house to get dressed. I decided on my hollister short shorts with a white studded belt from hot topic and a navy tank top. I brushed my teeth again and pulled my hair into a messy bun. Hey what the hell, not like I'm going anywhere special just the doctors.

Kristen drove in her white volkswagen and we chatted, mostly about the baby.

"Aren't you excited for today" I asked her.

"Yeah can't wait!" She exclaimed with a huge smile on her face.

"Good, What do you think it will be?" I asked. Today she would find out the baby's gender.

"Umm, I'm not sure. Maybe a girl?" she said more as a question. "I wish Jason was here though" she sounded a little upset.

I just nodded in sympathy. Jason was away on business, which was a partical reason the were staying with us besides the fact that their house was under serious construction.

We arrived and after checking in, sat in the waiting room for a few minutes. My name was called and I followed the nice older lady back to a room. She took all my stats, like bloodpressure and temperature and such. She left the room saying the doctor will be in shortly.

After about 10 minutes of staring at the white wall, a doctor finally opened the door and walked in.

"Good morning" he said cheerfully. I laid down on my side and lifted my shirt to reveal a scar and stitched. The doctor did whatever was nesscary and took out the stitches. He gave me the okay to ride and I walked out into the waiting room to look for Kristen. She was still waiting for her name to be called and as if on cue a nurse did call her back.

She wanted me with her so we could share the excitement of everything. She layed down on the exam table. The nurse put the gel on her belly and she shivered. I just squeezed her hand tight and looked at the screen. The nurse put the little handle thing on her stomach and we listened for a heart beat and waited for an image. The image appeared an revealed a very still looking baby, but the heart beat never came.
