Chapter 10

Ughh. I hate explaining things. Niall walked over to me with a concerned look on his face. How was I going to say this without crying again. Wait, it was not even my job to tell them. It had to be Kristen to tell everyone.

"Hey what happened this morning?" Niall asked softly in my ear.

"Umm, I can't tell you. You'll see this afternoon" I stated trying to sound emotionless. If I put any emotion at all into it I knew I would break down. That was not happening in front of Alyse and these 5 very famous boys. But Niall still looked concerned. i hurriedly changed the subject.

"Oh, also, do you huys wanna play in the creek with me and Alyse this morning for a few hours?" I asked them.

"Yes, yes, yes, YES!" Louis shouted immediately.

"Okay now get ready in some old clothes and I have a couple more pairs of muck boots in the barn you guys could use. Meet me down there" I told them and left to leave them to get changed.

When we got to the barn, I changed Alyse's crocs for her pink polka dot muck boots. While we waited for the boys, I put Alyse's helmet on her head and lifted Alyse onto Maddie's back. I led her up and down the aisleway for a bit while she had a huge grin on her face. Maddie is very safe and Kristen does approve of it.

Once the boys appeared in the doorway I helped Alyse slide down and put Maddie back in her stall. By the time I walked back into the tack room, Alyse had taken off her helmet and the boys were waiting for muckboots.

I had 7 extra pairs. They were cleaned off and I handed then to the boys to try on for size. They were mostly my brothers and dad's old pairs. Liam found a red pair that came up to the knee, Zayn fit into a green pair that came up to the middle of his shin, Niall had on a dark blue pair that came up to mid-shin, and Harry and Louis were arguing over a purple pair that I did not even know we had and was unsure whether it even fit them.

"Um guys, what's the problem?" I asked them walking over to them.

"Harry won't give them to me. I saw them first" Louis whined.

"No way! I saw them first" Harry whined back. I just laughed while they continued fighting for a few minutes before Daddy Direction took over.

"Okay, let's see who fits into them better" he reasoned sternly. I just laughed harder and eventually Niall started laughing to.

Neither Louis, nor Harry could even put there foot in the the boot, so Liam gave Harry a black knee high pair and Louis a dark red pair that comes up mid-shin that he absolutely loved.

"I love you. I'm going to call you guys Booty and Carrots" Louis cooed to his boots pointing to the left and then the right shoe while naming them. I could not help but laugh all over again.

"Hey lou, you gunna marry the boots too?" I asked him joking. He pulled Alyse onto his shoulders and looked at me in shock. Uh oh.

" Awh shit. What did you start now Rube" Niall whispered in my ear. Sure enough Louis starts shouting.

"I'm getting married to Booty and Carrots! I'm getting married!" He shouted that all the way down to the creek skipping with Alyse.

Niall and I walked side by side and although he looked a little worried, he did not bring up my out burst this morning again. We chatted and the whole time I could not help but smile looking into his beautiful blue eyes.

"Were here!" I shouted excitedly and ran towards the water with Niall right beside me. I was followed by all the Louis, who came charging in with Alyse still on his shoulders. The water was not deep about ankle deep maybe a little deeper. Liam and Harry ran in, but Zayn was hesitant and I remembered his fear of water and not being able to swim.

Liam and I walked over to him to see how we could help.

"Hey, why don't you come in the water?" I asked coaxingly.

"I'm not a big fan of the water" he said sheepishly.

"Neither am I. But it's not deep" I grabbed his had a tried pulling him in. Liam grabbed his other hand and pulled on it too. We dragged a reluctant Zayn into the little creek.

"I guess this isn't too bad" he said getting used to the water.

"The only way you can drown is if you held your face underwater" Harry joked, joining into our conversation. Louis and Niall were splashing around a little ways away with Alyse. All 3 had big smiles on their faces and that brought a smile onto my face too. I ran over to join them and soon all 7 of us splashing around in the creek.

A few hours past quickly and I checked my phone to see the time, 11:01. Alyse and I were going to pick up Kristen around 12 and it took half an hour to get there plus we had to get changed as Alyse and I were soaked.

"Alright, you guys can stay here if you want but me and Alyse gotta get going" I shouted getting their attention.

"Where ya goin?" Niall asked curiously in his cute Irish accent.

"Places. Are you guys coming or not?" I asked impatiently, taking Alyse from Harry and placing her on my right hip. I gave them a stern look meaning 'don't question it again' before turning around. Zayn came up on my left and slung an arm around my shoulders. He did not question it but his body language told me he was there if I needed him and I appreciated that. Niall came up and walked on my right side. Soon we all were walking in a line with arms over each others shoulders except me because I was holding Alyse. From left to right it was Zayn, me and Alyse, Niall, Liam, Louis, and Harry on the end. We walked in a comfortable and peaceful silence. I knew they were all looking around at the beautiful view.

We walked down the path that led to the houses and we separated. They walked to there bunkhouse and I went to the mainhouse. I called for Lilly and she came running down the stairs. She was coming with us to pick up Kristen from the hospital.

We got into Kristen's car, buckled Alyse in, and Lilly drove to the hospital. Once we got there we walked into the reception area, Lilly signed some paperwork, and then a nurse brought Kristen out in a wheelchair.

"Mommy!" Alyse shouted excitedly and ran to her mother. She crawled onto Kristen's lap and hugged her.

"Aww" Lilly and I cooed at the sight. Lilly left to pull up the car and the nurse then pushed the wheelchair carrying Alyse and Kisten to the curb to wait for Lilly. Seconds later Lilly pulls up and Kristen gets in the front. We kindly thank the nurse and I strap in Alyse and myself before Lilly pulls us back on the highway.
