I sat in my twin's Lion, Red. Yet I heard the Black Lion berating Takashi for some freaky-deaky reason. I turned to Keith and inquired, "Why is the Black Lion shouting at Takashi?" My brother gave me a confused look and yelped, "You can hear the Black Lion?! That's insane!"

Takashi decided that it'd be a good idea to snipe, "If you two are done being total dorks, we have to get Keith back to the castle before Lance loses it." I gave Keith a look and asked, "Who the quiznak is Lance?" Keith blushed a dark red as he replied, "Lance is my boyfriend. We met at the Galaxy Garrison." I made a mental note to relentlessly tease my brother about getting a boyfriend later.

When we got back to the Castle of Lions, we were assaulted by bear hugs. More like Keith and Takashi were assaulted by bear hugs, but you get the general gist of it. One boy in particular seemed to pay close attention to my brother. The boy was tall, lanky, had a SWEET tan, and blue eyes that seemed to make Keith's heart melt. I was positive that this guy was my brother's boyfriend, Lance.

Alas, the hug-fest came to an end all too soon. A young Altean woman - Princess Allura herself - stepped forward. "Welcome back, Keith, Shiro. I'm glad you're okay. Wait a second," she said when she saw me. I quickly darted behind Takashi - no, wait, Shiro - when Allura's icy-blue eyes attempted to make contact with my dull blue-gray eyes. Keith quickly stepped froward. "Cool your jets, Allura, she's my twin sister. She's been with the Blades ever since we were kids." I shyly poked my head out from behind Shiro and waved. A young man in yellow Paladin armor gave me a friendly smile and a wave, while a girl in green Paladin armor gave me a small smirk.

Allura, however, was another story. I could see the hatred boiling in her expression. Due to my years of analyzing body language, I could tell why: She hated the fact that I was half-Galra. Was it my fault Mom was Galra and Dad was human? Ummm. . . . NO! I sighed, knowing that I wasn't wanted, and slinked away. Once I reached the training deck, I broke down crying. I just wanted someone to give a single, solitary crap about how I actually felt. I was so done with having to bite my tongue.

I slept on the training deck that night. I knew when I was welcome, and this was most definitely not the time to get comfortable in a bedroom in the guest wing.
