Chapter 16: Short but Sweet

Emily's POV

"Well, one of the fans don't or can't believe you two are together so they want to confirm by having you two make out on live feed."

Honestly, I didn't mind. We've already come out and I was thinking the picture we posted on would be a picture of us kissing or something to show that we aren't ashamed and we are proud and confident in our relationship. I looked over at Rennie and smiled at her giving her a slight nudge. She blinked a couple times and got my message. We're a couple now. Let's do it. We both looked over at the interviewer.

"This seems silly and really doesn't have a purpose since we just told you all that we are together but why not? We are proud of our relationship and seems fun."

"Haha alright, for all the fans who doubt them and think this is a prank... here's the confirmation I guess!"

I turned Rennie and slowly placed my lips on hers and gave her a short but real kiss. If I'm being honest, I've never kissed anyone on screen as me. I didn't want to actually "make out" with her on camera but I wanted the fans to know it was real. I just want to make a point and even though my publicist will kill me for it, it just might be worth it in my mind.

"Well, congrats you two! One more question from the fans and we'll have to get back to the actual interview. So, this one I'm very curious about as well... Are your characters going to be affected by this?"

"I feel like people don't realize enough that there is a very large barrier and difference with the character and our actual character. Personally, I've never had a problem with playing a bisexual character but in real life, I was straight. Now, I've come out but it doesn't change anything for my character. I'm willing to play the part or not, to me, whatever is best for the show is what I want to happen so to answer the question. The situation hasn't really changed because the characters are separate from us AND it's for the writers to decide."

"Wow, I mean I guess Adrienne said it all but yes. The situation is the same as before, this isn't announcing anything other than our relationship in real life and our own statuses. As for the characters, that's not in our hands."

"Alright! Damn you guys are really good at interviews haha. Seems like you two rehearsed that in the mirror this morning or something. Ok so we need to focus back onto what's happening on the show right now. I mean my job is kind of to talk about the show sooo I don't really wanna get fired."

"Hahaha yes of course! That's what we are here for as well."

The rest of the interview was like any other but it felt so good to tell all the fans. I couldn't wait to take really cute couple photos for instagram since everyone know now. It felt like a whole new chapter of our relationship.

Adrienne's POV

Well, we finally got the interview out of the way and now the fans know everything.

"Sooooo, it's done!"

"Hahah, yeah, I guess it is. I love you."

"I love you too."

I gave Em a quick kiss and suddenly I hear people clapping and "awwing". I look around and see cast members from all shows and people of heroes and villains. I realized this is the first real time we kissed in public. At first I was nervous but I after, I felt a relief and satisfaction that we could finally be a couple without hiding from the world.

*later that night*

Em is lying beside me. We're finally back in the hotel room after a long day. We found a really cute spot on the way back and took a picture of us kissing to post and reveal our relationship once again on the internet.

"So Em... I think we should post the pic now. You wanna?"

"Sure! Let's think of something simple and cute to caption for the both of us."

"I think it could be something as simple as "With the one I love with a heart emoji" that could be cute."

"Definitely, let's just go with that and not overthink it."

With that, we both posted an official photo of us kissing on the internet. All of our fans will know for sure now, it's official. Emily Bett Rickards and Adrienne Carlson are a fucking couple, damn that's sounds cool. With that, we cuddled and went to sleep. I wonder what we'll wake up to tomorrow morning.

sorry that this is a really short chapter but I kind of stopped writing for two reasons. I didn't know people would actually read this fan fic but considering it has a total of 1.1k views, I want to keep writing for those who actually want to read it : ) And also I didn't know how I wanted to continue this story since I feel the chapters are not as good as before but I'm working on it! Anyways I'm really triggered with the crossover ending just saying....
