Chapter 15: The Confirmation

Adrienne's POV

My hands are wrapped around Emily as the light shone onto her. Nothing else matters. If what she said yesterday was true... that coming out to the public would be the next step in our relationship and that she is always going to be there for me, then I'll do it. Recently I feel like I've reached a point of my life where everything just happened. I didn't feel like I had control of anything, things just came and moved along. I have been so lost within my relationship with Emily that I hadn't had time to notice the other things in my life. I haven't made any decisions on my own, instead I just follow the orders like a robot. But I'm making this decision for myself. Coming out to the public and everyone will be hard but I believe in our relationship and I trust that we'll make it through.

"Ren?"

"Hey! Didn't know you were awake!"

"Hmm, well the light is in my face so yea, I'm awake."

"Haha, well we can still cuddle for awhile, today's our last day so it should be easy."

"Yep. What were you thinking about?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"I've been awake for a little bit and it seems like you were thinking about something."

I stared at her for a little, making sure that I wanted to tell her and make the final decision.

"Let's do it Em. I love you and I want to for once make my own big decision for myself. Let's come out personally and about our relationship. To our friends, the public, I don't care, all I care about is you and our relationship."

Maybe it was the way I said it or just how I felt but I felt quite powerful after I got it out and Emily looked a little startled.

"Wow. Ok. Yea."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah! Let's do it. Ok, well, let's not be dicks and wait around. Today, we'll tell Greg, this is good news for him anyways."

"Haha, alright. No more dicking around!"

"Ok... well get up you lazy ass!!"

I couldn't help myself and let out natural grin and a chuckle.

"RENNIE!"

"What?!"

"Where the fuck are my socks?"

"Oh. Um, it was cold last night..."

"Oh my God Ren, get your own damn socks."

"Hehe, ok babe."

Emily's POV

"Hey Greg!"

"Hey you two, looking uh... bubbly today?"

"We have some news that you might be interested in."

"Yeah? And what would that be?"

"We are going to come out."

"You... are? Both... both of you?"

"Yep! We wanted to announce it during the interview that Em and I have together today."

"Well! I mean, that's great! I'm happy to hear it. So... does this mean that you two are open to the other thing as well? Can we uh, can we pair you guys up on screen?"

"We-uh-ju... I think we are both fine with it but if you could have it go slow and dangle Olicity for little while. After they seperate if you could have Em and I slowly get together and um not be too intense too fast. We're both coming out to literally everyone today but we still need time and a to talk."
