"(f/n)!" Ayato ran into the school's kitchen, only for you to run out and push him back into the hallway.
"Ayato, what're you doing?" You quickly asked as you dragged him away from the kitchen.
"Why are you dragging me away?" Ayato asked.
"Don't worry about it—"
"Then let me see—"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No, you'll ruin your surprise!" You quickly said as you hung onto Ayato's arm.
"What surprise?" He asked you.
"It's a gift for you, stupid!" You said but that made him try to get you off of him, "What're you doing?"
"I wanna see!"
"No, Ayato!"
"Why not?"
"Because it's a gift! Christmas is soon so you'll have to wait!!!" You said as you tried to stop him from going.
"I can have a peek—"
"Says who? I'm the one who's not giving you your gift until Christmas Day!"
"(f/n)..."
"No, bite me! I'm not having you see your gift now, you impatient child!"
"I'm not a child!" Ayato shouted.
"You're acting like one!" You say with a glare.
"No, I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"No, I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"Yes!"
"Good, then you agree." You said as you caught his attempt of reverse psychology.
"Dammit..." Ayato muttered to himself.
"That's what you get, now can you please wait? You'll love this present, I know you will but I want to give you something for Christmas." You gave him the puppy eyes.
"Why should I—"
You quickly planted a kiss on Ayato's cheek. His face flowed red as he looked down at your embarrassed form that was still holding onto his arm. You wouldn't show him your face since you were trying to hide your blush, which Ayato found adorable.
"Look at you two~" You jumped away from Ayato when you saw Laito standing in front of you two.
"Shut up, Laito!" Ayato was quick to get defensive.
"Can you guys be quiet?" The three of you looked down at the floor to see Shu sitting on the floor with his back against the wall.
"Really, Shu?" You and Ayato both had poker faces on.
"What? Can a guy sleep wherever he wants?" You sighed as you saw Ayato get ticked off.
"Now you listen here—"
You covered your ears as you and Laito shared a glance. Laito shook his head as he motioned his head towards the kitchen. He mouthed the words 'Finish your gift' before putting his two sense into Ayato and Shu's conversation.
"Shut up, Laito!"
You took that as a sign to go back to the kitchen. You chuckled as you walked in to finish the takoyaki that Ayato seemed to never get sick of. You knew you could just give it to Ayato but he seemed happy every time he got the chance to have the food. So, you thought you could give it to him on Christmas Day so he could actually enjoy the holiday for once in his life. A smile grew on your face as you heard the brothers arguing out in the hallway, it made you giggle to know that nothing would change.
"Merry Christmas guys."
