... a book. You take a look at the title, 'The Catcher in the Rye', you never heard of it. You've never seen the Sakamaki brothers read a book like this, but then again, you've always tried to avoid them.

"Is this Ruki's?" You asked out of curiosity as you glanced at the vampire.

"You do know some things about me, that's reassuring." Ruki teased you, even though you've hidden the fact that you'll hang out at the Mukami mansion from the Sakamaki brothers.

"I know right," You said in a sarcastic tone, "to be honest it was a lucky guess."

"Let's go in, livestock." Ruki playfully rolled his eyes at you before walking towards the closet.

"Wait a minute!" You all looked at Ayato who was fuming, "Why would she go with you? She should go with Yours Truly!"

"Because she took my book out of your brother's hat, come on." Ruki said before taking your wrist and dragging you into the closet, closing the door behind us.

"SHE KNEW WHO THAT BOOK BELONGED TO!" Ayato shouted out of annoyance, "SHE SHOULD'VE CHOSEN ONE OF US, NOT ONE OF THE HALF BLOODS!"

You let out a sigh as Ayato threw a tantrum. It was embarrassing, you came to the house with Yui, but once you met the Mukami brothers the world was nicer to you.

"I'm sorry for him..." You muttered your apology before planting your hang onto your face.

"Purebloods are strange but annoying." Ruki said.

"Tell me about it, I have to live with it." You said as you rolled your eyes before leaning against the wall by the door.

"I didn't know you actually wanted to play." Ruki gave you a smirk as he looked down at your wrist.

You looked down as well, immediately remembering that Ruki held your wrist as the two of you went into the closet. Your face heated up at the thought of you two actually playing.

"Ruki—"

"I'm playing with you." You let out a sigh of relief but jumped when he caged you with his arms.

"Uhh... What're you doing, Ruki?" You asked, getting nervous.

You did end up crushing on Ruki, which Kou found out when he asked you. How did he find out? You denied having feelings for his older brother but Kou's eye saw through your lie and he pointed it out when Azusa and Yuma came into the room. Thankfully the five of you pretended you barely knew each other when the Sakamaki brothers were around. You guys knew that you would get in trouble if they found out you're friends with the half breeds. If it didn't matter and the Sakamakis didn't care then you knew that Ruki's brothers would tease the two of you.

"What does it look like I'm doing, livestock?" Ruki asked.

"I thought we weren't— Mm!!!" You were cut off by a certain someone's pair of lips.

You were frozen in shock as your (e/c) eyes stared into Ruki's bluish-grey eyes. His were hooded and you felt your body melt as you melted into the kiss. His arms slowly moved down to wrap around your waist, making you flinch, you weren't very experienced with kissing soooo...... But you were pretty sure that alternate versions of you, who were with any one of the other vampires, knew how this worked. But you know, it was just a hunch, not like someone made you experienced, right?

"(f/n)..." Ruki whispered your name against your lips as you two pulled away so you could get air.

"R-Ruki... I-I thought you said you were joking...?" You were happy but confused.

"I told you I was playing, but it feels good to know that I claimed you." His words finally made sense.

You understood that his words had two different meanings. Of course, you chose the wrong meaning but it amused Ruki to see you confused.

"I-I really like you, Ruki..." You blurted out.

"You didn't have to tell me through words, I already knew that you did." Ruki said.

"Wait, how?"

"You think my brothers wouldn't tell me? Did you also forget that vampires have better hearing than you mortals?" He chuckled.

"S-So you heard me?!" You ended up shouting, only to hear the other Mukami brothers bust out laughing.

"Shut up, you guys!" You shouted as you pounded your fist against the door, only to make them laugh louder.

"(f/n)~" Ruki murmured against your neck as you felt him place many kisses against it.

"R-Ruki—"

"I like you too, don't worry your little head off." He said before sinking his fangs into your neck.

"GET HER OUT OF THERE!!! HE GOT TO HER BLOOD BEFORE US!" Ayato shouted once the scent of your blood reached the air in the closet as well as through the little cracks under the door.

"Leave them be, I'm sure they're having fun." You heard the smirk in Kou's voice.

"K-Kou, I-I will get you!!!" You tried to shout as normal as possible.

"How will you if I make you unable to walk after this game ends?" You froze up once you heard Ruki ask that.

"H-How can you say that so casually?" You were a blushing mess at this point.

"Because it gives me the kind of reaction I wanted."

"You're just like Ayato, always trying to tease me." You sighed.

"WE ARE NOTHING LIKE EACH OTHER!!!" Ayato shouted.

"Hold on, we have a minute left..." With that, Ruki began to suck, kiss, and lick the spot on your neck where you were bitten.

You forced your lips to stay together so no sounds could be heard. You were close to breaking when Ruki's hands went underneath your shirt and caressed your lower back. He pulled away with a 'pop' sound, just in time for the door to open and reveal Ayato red in the face with anger.

"Finally, let's go, melons." Ayato grabbed you by the wrist and pulled you away from Ruki.

"A-Ayato!"

"You belong to us, not him." He said as he jabbed his pointed finger onto the spot where Ruki left his mark, making you flinch in pain and sensitivity.

"Yes, she does, " You heard Ruki's voice as his arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you close to his body, "she'll be moving in with my brothers so I know she's safe with me."

"Who the hell gave you the right to think we'll let you take her?" Subaru butted in.

"It's not like you take good care of her like Ruki did. She clearly enjoyed her time with him in the closet, look at how red her face is." Kou's words made you pissed off and more embarrassed.

"Kou, I will get you." You growled at the blondie.

"And mess up my face? You know I'm a pop star, Neko-chan." Kou pokes his tongue out from between his lips.

"It just gives me the most wonderful reason to mess up your face. It'll give you a break from all of your fan girls at school and on the streets." You gave an evil smirk which made Kou stand by Yuma.

"Help me...!" Kou whimpered to Yuma.

"Yes, climb the big ass tree, Levi Ackerman would be so proud of you." You sarcastically said with rolling your eyes.

"Who?" Everyone asked you.

"Man, you guys need to watch anime more often..."
