also, if there's any pregnancy symptoms or other stuff that is actually false that is in this imagine, i'm sorry. i'm not pregnany, i've never been pregnant, and i've never been around someone actively who's pregnant. yes, i've had relatives that have been expecting, but i wasn't around them a whole lot. so yea, i hope you enjoy <3

When you and Jungkook got married, it was like the puzzle was complete. You two didn't need anything more or anything less. And as the years went on, you thought that wouldn't change. However, you came to realize that your puzzle was drifting apart for something else to come in and have a home in your and Jungkook's puzzle. You couldn't place your finger on it was at first. Did you not feel at home in the house you were living in? Did you need to change something in your careers? The answer was right under your nose, really, and you didn't see it until you noticed the way you and Jungkook looked at couples that had little toddlers in the mall or at a restaurant. That little empty spot in your puzzle was waiting for a little baby.

It was late at night and you two were laying in bed. Normally, you two had the serious talks at night when the moon cast shadows on your faces and created an array of blues and blacks over the room. Silence was a heavy blanket resting over you as you tried to go over the words in your head, hoping they sounded right and not awkward. Jungkook's warm breath was dancing over your skin as he waited for you to yawn and snuggle into him before saying a cute "good night" or "I love you."

"What do you think about having a baby?" you asked, your voice small and timid.

"I think it's a great idea," he answered. "Why?"

"I've just been thinking," you muttered, playing with a loose thread hanging from one of the sheets on top of you. "I think it'd be... nice to have a new addition to our family."

You heard the blankets shift as Jungkook sat up a bit. "All you have to do is tell me when, honey."

A light pink shade began to dust over cheeks before you pulled the sheets over your head. You felt weird and embarrassed. "I'm so awkward," you murmured.

Your voice was muffled, but your husband still heard you. He chuckled and pulled at a strand of hair that didn't go with you into the dark abyss you tried to escape into. "Awkward? I thought it was cute."

You peeked out from under the blankets. "I'm sure there's a much better way of asking this."

He shrugged. "I like your way."

"You're making this worse. Stop complimenting me," you pouted, pinching his stomach.

He pinched you back and you both began playing with each other, poking and prodding at each other causing the covers to become disheveled. At some point, you grabbed both Jungkook's wrists and told him to stop but he easily broke free and kept on tickling you. You tried to slap his hands away, but he was too strong. When he saw your fighting get slower and daintier, he leaned forward and kissed your nose before planting another one on your lips. "I'd love to have a little baby with you, (Y/N)."

So, you went to work. From figuring out when the best time to get down and dirty was and other pregnancy tips. You both were excited and couldn't wait to welcome a little boy or girl into the world.

You fumbled with the pregnancy test in your hands, carefully reading the instructions so you wouldn't mess up something. You hadn't started your period yesterday, so you decided to check. It was sometimes normal for you to skip a cycle, but you wanted to check given the circumstances. Jungkook was currently recording and you had just finished up a new video that would be posted soon. You followed the instructions word for word and when you were presented with a positive test, you about screamed. You did a little dance in the bathroom before the hiding the test in a box in your closet. You were saving the news for a special time that was coming up in a week – Jungkook's birthday. To help calm yourself down, you went to wrapping your husband's presents.
