The waves crashed onto the shore and created a calming atmosphere for you as you sat on the deck outside of your room. The air was warm, but the breeze was cool against your skin, balancing each other out. The beach was calm at this early hour of the day, but your husband wanted to see the sun rise so you both trekked outside in your pajamas, cameras in hand.

"Look at all those chickens," Jungkook chuckled, pointing to the seagulls that were on the sand below you.

"It's your family," you giggled, holding his arm.

The two of you were in Mexico, relaxing at a super expensive resort that Jungkook was dying to spoil you at. You told him it was just a three year anniversary, not some big milestone. But he disagreed, saying that he wanted to make sure you felt loved and cared for.

"I do though," you argued. "I feel loved from the moment I wake up to the time I rest my head at night and every moment in between."

"That's not enough," Jungkook insisted. "I'm going to reserve that room and you can't stop me."

So now you were in Mexico with your husband, celebrating your third year anniversary.

"You reference another vine and I'll kill you," you threatened, following Jungkook back indoors, still recording so you could later put it all into a video for your channel.

"You wouldn't dare," he gasped.

You both laid around for a few more hours until you set out on your adventure. You went down to the beach and walked around. You brought a bag with you so you could collect seashells. It was a family tradition so Jungkook helped you with the task, observing the hot sands with a close eye to find a pretty shell for his wife. You had somehow got separated at one point, probably due to your small attention span, and when you met up with Jungkook, he had he pockets full of shells. "I didn't know which ones you would like so I just got all of them."

You two stayed on the beach for a while before going back to the "house" and getting a snack then showering and planning out the rest of your stay. Jungkook had somehow convinced you to do parasailing with him and other daring things while he agreed to just hanging out with you in the sun for a day. You would be going to dinner that night at a restaurant you found on the internet and that would be the end of your first full day in Mexico.

"Look at the flowers," you awed, gesturing to the vines full of pretty flowers growing on the building.

"Mhm," Jungkook murmured, his hand grasping yours. He hiccuped and then giggled.

You sighed. "I wouldn't think I'd have to take care of you on this trip."

Your husband was a little drunk, and honestly it was the cutest and funniest thing you ever saw. He rarely got like this, mainly because he didn't want to be like this in front of you. He said it wasn't mature and that it wasn't a good side of him. You loved him nonetheless, including his quirks.

Once you got to the place you would be staying at for the next week, you guided your husband into the room and you flipped the lights on. You dumped your stuff onto the table where leftover food was and began to take off your shoes. Jungkook only plopped down on the couch, a silly smile plastered on his face with a blush painted on his skin.

After you took care of a few things, you crawled onto the couch next to him and cradled his body in your arms. "Are you going to sleep in here?" you asked, wondering if you needed to fetch a blanket for the two of you.

He shrugged, taking his hand and running it through your hair. "I don't know, honey. Where do you want to sleep?"

"I don't care," you muttered, closing your eyes and taking in his scent that made you feel safe and comforted.

"I didn't ask if you cared," he responded. He planted a kiss on the top of your head and hugged you close. "I asked you where."

"I'm fine with whatever," you told him. "I can sleep anywhere, you know that."

He only hummed a response before he squeezed you tightly. "Just go sleep in the bed. Sleeping on a couch hurts your back."

"I'm sleeping where you sleep," you argued.

"(Y/N)..." His whine was like that of a child's and you felt yourself smile. "Go sleep in the bed."

You groaned and reluctantly complied, standing up. "Come get me if you need anything," you told him, upset that you weren't going to be sleeping beside him. You were always used to it and you found it hard to sleep without him by your side. But you knew that there was no use in arguing.

You went to the bedroom and changed into your pajamas after giving your husband a blanket and turning the lights out for him. You had given him a kiss on the nose, but you noticed his slowed breathing and concluded he had already passed out. You sat out a bottle of water for him in case he needed it and that's when you retired for the night.

Ten minutes had passed and you heard the door creak open. You had cracked it earlier and you thought that maybe it was an air draft. But a weight dropped on the bed next to you and an arm went around your waist.

"I can't sleep without you," a voice murmured.

You grinned, feeling your cheeks heat up. "Get under the covers, love. You're going to get cold."

But a deep snore told you that Jungkook wasn't going to and you were left to snuggle up close to him and fall to sleep yourself.

Where ever I go or end up, I hope you're beside me from the start to the end and every second in between.
