Is It You..? [Pidge x Reader]

[5] they've already found their soulmate anyway..

"Well, I don't know who their soulmate is but I know they have one. And that they kissed!" You responded, to a now choking on a chocolate chip cookie, Allura.

"Oh.. Alright. What are your conspiracies?" Allura asks.

"Well I think they didn't tell us for a reason." You stated while crossing your arms.

"What if it's one of us?" Hunk asks looking around at everyone.

"What color is the heart?" Shiro asks.

"It's like, a special shade of [Your Favorite Color]." You told him.

"Well it wasn't me because my favorite color is orange. And Shay's is a really pale blue color." Hunk says.

"My favorite color is gray, and Adam's favorite color is white." Shiro answers, noting into one of the cookies Hunk made.

"Those are both shades actually. My favorite color is lilac, and Romell's favorite color is light pink." Allura adds in.

"My favorite color is liGHT RED! That's a dARK RED." Everyone hears, coming from the front door.

"Keith, thAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR! DARK RED!" Lance screams.

You walked over to open the door.

"Can you both shut up plEASE!? " You add in.

"Keith thinks I'm cheating on him or something!" Lance says, looking like he's about to cry.

"Keith!" You look over at him.

He's looking away, his arms crossed. He's frowning. He looks worried.

Just then, you see Pidge walk up to the house. You wave at her to hurry up and come over here. Then, you brought everyone inside.

"Okay, half of us is gonna talk it over with Keith, half of us is gonna talk it over with Lance. It works, I promise. " You smiled, bringing lance into another room. You, Hunk, and Pidge went to talk to Lance. While Shiro, Allura, and Romell went to talk to Keith.

"Lance, what happened?" You asked, looking concerned.

"Just, nothing, he's just being stupid." He answered, wiping his eyes.

"Lance, we know something's wrong. And we know damn well your on the verge of crying too. Your like a big brother to me, I know when something's up." Pidge said smiling, as she hugged Lance.

"Okay, so, I guess the soulmate mark wasn't Keith's 'actual favorite color' so, he thinks I'm cheating on him or something. And I guess, it, kinda hurts. Ya know? I mean, what does he think of me? Does he seriously think I'd cheat on him..?" Lance asks, no longer fighting back the tears that now streamed down his face.

"I will physically and mentally muRDER HIM-" You shouted beginning to storm out of the room. But Pidge grabbed your hand just in time to stop you from touching the doorknob. You froze, looking at the door, your eyes wide. Physical affection, like hugging, or holding hands, might not be a big deal to most people, but it damn well is to you. Your face was burning, you could feel your face getting hot. Your thoughts were overwhelming you, but suddenly a voice interrupts that.

"Are you forgetting that Keith is still Lance's boyfriend?" Asks Pidge with a playful smile on her face.

"Huh? Oh, oh yeah." Was all you could get out of your mouth.

"I'll, be right b-back." You said before walking out of the room. You walked past Keith and everyone else, out of the front door and outside.

For a while, you just sat on the steps. Thinking. Thinking about Pidge. Thinking about how much you liked them. How much you were hurt from them kissing their soulmate.

Then, you felt a tear stream down your cheek. Then another, and another. And, before you knew it, you were crying. Your heart, physically ached. And you tried and tried to stop crying, but it seemed so, so,  impossible.

Then you heard the door open, and someone walk outside.

"[Name]..? Are you okay?" Allura asked, coming over to sit next to you. You just sat there, watching the sunset, not even bothering to fight back the tears anymore.

"Allura... I think I'm in love.." You said to her, almost at a whisper.

"Oh, with who..?" She responded, resting a comforting hand on your back.

"I can't tell you.. It's no use.. They've already found their soulmate anyway.."
