Lisa made a note to herself to improve the offices of her workers, as she was locked in that cramp office space, fanning herself furiously while waiting for Mr. Kim...

She decided to walk around the room, hoping to find a better spot to cool off. It led her to a few picture frames on Mr. Kim's desk. She picked up one and couldn't help but smile at the adorable picture of a five years old Jennie.

The longer she stares, the more she wanted to finally have a little Jennie of their own, running around their home.

"Ms. Manoban..."

Lisa lays the picture back in the desk and turns towards the door.

"Mr. Kim" Lisa bows down politely...

Mr. Kim perfectly knew who this stunning woman is, but having to work in the factory site rather than the office towers, he never gets a chance to really look at her. He did catch a glimpse of her here and there. But now that she was standing this close, he couldn't help but admit that the girl was simply breathtaking.

"Please call me Lisa..."

Mr. Kim has no intentions calling her that, calling her Lisa would only mean he's accepting his fate as a failed father.

"What can I do for you, Lisa?" He asks even though he already has an idea what she would have wanted to talk about.

"It's about Jennie..."

"I have nothing to say about that, Jennie obviously made her choice." Mr. Kim says in both frustration and defeat.

"Yes you do sir... You're her father and you have every right to say what you wanted to say."

Mr. Kim has angry words about to slip out of his mouth, but he was wise enough to hold back his tongue. Lisa Manoban was still the daughter of the man who puts food on his table. It wouldn't be wise to spite at her, no matter how deserving she is of it.

"Please don't think I came here as Lisa Manoban, your boss's daughter. I came here to ask your daughter's hand in marriage." Lisa takes careful steps towards the man, although it was obvious that he could rage any second now. "I would like to invite you to our wedding." Lisa press on, hoping Mr. Kim would be more accepting than his wife. "It would mean so much for Jennie to see you there."

"She's already marrying you... Would it matter if I'm even there?!"

"Sir, it's our wedding. I want it to be the happiest day of her life. If she sees you there, you won't know how happy Jennie would be."

"She chose you Lisa, despite of how me and her mother told her not to. So, I don't think it really matters to her if me or her mother would be there!"

"Yes it does!" Lisa voice raises in frustration, but the anger in her eyes soften up at the thought of her angel. "Why is it so hard for you to accept us?!"

Mr. Kim couldn't help but pull away, seeing Lisa's tears made her look human.

"I love your daughter with everything I have, isn't that enough?" Lisa pleaded...

"NO IT'S NOT!!!"

Lisa eyes widen as Mr. Kim's gentle personality suddenly transform to a man so full of anger.

"You will never understand how me and her mother feel. You think that love is enough? It's not Lisa! It's what destroys people, it's what destroyed Jennie... YOU!"

Lisa could feel how much Mr. Kim have hated her, not through his words but through his glares, his intense glares that's enough to drill a hole in her soul.
