Chapter 3

"Lalisa-shii?"

Lisa sits up on her bed and smiles as the cat eyed girl was standing right there by her doorway.

"Lisa" Lisa corrected her again...

"Oh...okay, Lisa...ummm... here..." Jennie extends her arm to hand the jacket. "Thank you, I ummmm wash it so it won't-"

"No..."

"What?"

"You didn't have to do that." Lisa smiles as she felt as the jacket warm her hands.

"I have to, it's rude if I didn't"

"I guess so..." Lisa blushes as Jennie smiles then turn away "Jennie"

"Lisa?"

Lisa has to try again even if her brain is begging her not to.

"Ummmm.... nothing...."

"What is it?"

"I ummmm... sorry just forget about it...."

Jennie nods and was a foot away from the door when Lisa spoke again.

"Wait...Jennie"

Jennie turns her heels and sees Lisa standing in front of her, fidgeting with her shirt.

"Ummmm... tomorrow morning, I was ummmm wondering. Could I drive you to school?"

And this was it, the heartbreak for both girls are about to begin the moment Jennie opens her mouth to answer Lisa.

"Yes sure" Jennie smiles back.

And Lisa would jump up and down in glee if Jennie wasn't there...

Jennie hurriedly walks away, trying to still her heart as she was about to begin her series of lies.

Tic toc. Tic Toc. Tic Toc

Jennie couldn't help to be curious and glance at the speedometer in Lisa's car as another car overtakes Lisa's for the hundredth time.

And for someone who drives such a fancy car, Lisa is driving as if her car was a beat up junk that could fall apart any second.

"You really drive this ummmm... careful?" Jennie was about to say slow but she doesn't want to offend her boss' daughter.

"Oh ummm...." Lisa steps on the gas pedal to rev up her car. She cursed herself for getting caught, she had hoped that Jennie wouldn't notice that she was driving slow. All she wanted to do is make their car ride longer. Even if 10 minutes of it was spend in awkward silence, still Lisa couldn't have been more happier. It's a very simple reason really, it's because Jennie was just inches away from her. "I ummmm.... yeah... I guess I'm just a careful driver".

"So ummmm"

"So ummmm"

The two chuckles embarrassingly as they spoke at the same time.

"You go first" Lisa nudges Jennie.

"Ummmm...." Jennie chuckles so cutely that Lisa has to stop herself from cooing at her "I forgot what I was about to say, so ummmm... you go first".

"Oh... ahhhh... What classes are you taking?" Lisa lies. Lisa knew Jennie's class schedule by heart, she knows when to look and what hallway Jennie will appear in. Lisa always make sure that she passes by just to see Jennie, but Jennie never look at her when they cross path in the hallway. But it doesn't stop Lisa from taking that same route everyday.

"I'm taking algebra, biochemistry and history. How about you?"

Lisa frowns thoughtfully at Jennie's classes. "I thought you want to be an actress?"

Jennie didn't know what Lisa could remember something as vague as that. "Ummmm... I do... but it's not practical. So, I'm taking up nursing."

"I think you'll be great nurse"

Jennie smiles "Thanks..."

The two were choking in awkward silence again. Jennie unconsciously sigh in relief as Lisa finally made it to school.

"Thanks for the ride, Lisa"

But Jennie didn't wait for a reply and hurriedly steps out of the vehicle. And Jennie was relieved to finally got out that awkwardness, Lisa was left wishing she could hold on to Jennie for a few minutes more.

Jin stood back to admire Lisa's big brother's Lamborghini Marceliago. He was the only one trusted by the Manoban's to clean up their pricey cars, and Jin no matter how much he hated it, does it for this way the closest thing he could do from driving them.

"Lalisa-shii"

Jin called out as he sees Lisa stepping out of her Mercedes Benz... Jin really has nothing against the girl, Lisa is probably the only one in her family who doesn't rub in their wealth on people's faces. But unfortunately, Lisa has to suffer a wee bit just so Jin's plan could work.

"Jin oppa"

"I just want to thank you for taking my sister to school"

Lisa couldn't help but smile "No problem... We go to the same school anyway so it's no hassle"

"I bet she was quiet the whole trip"

"Pretty much..."

"I don't blame her, I mean I would be nervous as hell too if I'm riding with the person I have liked for awhile"

Jin couldn't help but smile as he sees the way Lisa's eyes glowed from what he just told her.

"L-liked?"

"I don't know if you ever notice but my sister she ummm... always admired you... let's just put it that"

And Lisa couldn't help but blush at what she heard. Jin smiles, just to mention of his sister's name and Lisa doesn't have the mind to think anymore, she would relentlessly give her heart the go signal to make decisions for her. It was dangerous for Lisa and Jin sees this as a good opportunity for him and his family.

"But ofcourse, she's just afraid to admit how she feels... with your social status so different and all"

Lisa looks up to Jin with those worried eyes. "No. Why would she think that? That doesn't matter to me... Jennie..." Lisa smiles at the mention of Jennie's name "is the most amazing person on Earth. No money in the world could ever change that"

"Then, you got to try Lisa... make her feel special.."

Ummm... I try but it doesn't seem to work." Lisa says hopelessly.

"I don't know if you notice Lis, but my sister is a very beautiful girl, there are men lining up just to win her heart." And Jin stilled his heart, trying to not feel sorry when he sees those dark brown eyes stricken with worry "A car ride to school, lending your jacket, that means nothing to Jennie. You have to go beyond just to make Jennie feel special"

"H-how am I going to do that?"

Jin smiles slyly, Lisa was just too easy to sway, "Don't worry I'll help you"

"Hey Jennie..."

Jennie politely excused herself from her friends and walks over the hot girl leaning on her car.

"Lisa"

"I was wondering if I could take you home today, if you don't mind"

"Well...ummmm... no, I don't"

Lisa lips curve into grin and she hurriedly runs toward the passenger side to opens the door for Jennie.

And once they were settled in the car, Lisa suddenly spoke.

"Would you mind if we go somewhere?"
