Chapter 55.3

Jennie sits down beside Lisa, her hand traveling down Lisa's arms until their fingers are lock in each other.

"How long is this reception going to take?"

Lisa complains to Jennie as she sees no sign of the party slowing down. Jisoo and Seulgi were revving everyone up in the dance floor, only Rose who was gulping down on her drink was the only one not dancing.

Jennie had to softly slap her wife's arm, so the other girl could behave.

"I want to start our honeymoon already..." Lisa continues to grumble...

"Lili" Jennie says warningly, squeezing Lisa's hand to behave the other girl.

It works for a wee bit until Lisa starts grumbling again.

And Jennie squeezes Lisa's hand but this time she leans in closer, her lips brushing on Lisa's earlobe as she whispers sweet nothings to her wife.

As much as it was supposed to be a celebration for them, the newlyweds were ignored almost the whole night. Not because they were forgotten, but because no one want to break such a perfect moment.

And if anyone would ask how two people in love would look like, all they would have to do is look at Lisa and Jennie, they were simply the perfect answer to the perfectly simple question.

It felt like forever, but Lisa couldn't have been happier to finally have Jennie all to herself. But instead of loud laughs and jokes, their car ride was spend in comfortable silence, with only their held hands squeezing each other as their way for communicating.

Jennie smiles as she recognized the familiar place that Lisa was driving her to. Lisa have bit her lips, her eagerness about to take over her as she was excited to show Jennie her wedding gift.

Finally they reach their beach, but for once it wasn't the gorgeous ocean that stole Jennie's attention but the vast magnificent beach house overlooking the beach.

"Do you like it?"

Jennie turns to Lisa, wondering if all of this could be true...

"Do you like my wedding gift?!"

Jennie squealed happily before jumping into Lisa's arms. And from the hug that Lisa received it was obvious, Jennie loves her gift...

"You know how you told me how you wished we could stay here forever?"

Jennie looks back at Lisa with such childhood innocence that Lisa couldn't help falling for.

"This place is a bit far from work, but it's going to be here, for you, for us..." Lisa presses a kiss on Jennie's lean shoulder. "When life is getting too crazy or we just need to take a step back, we can escape here... This is our world Jennie, just you and me..."

"I like the thought of that..."

Their lips met again in a tender kiss, but the tenderness melted into passion as Jennie's hand travel from Lisa's shoulders to her arms, until Jennie's hands are locked with Lisa's.

But before they could deepen their kiss, Jennie lets out a cute yelp, burying herself in Lisa's chest when the roar of thunder broke their silence.

"Ahhh crap!" Lisa growls as an unexpected downpour have them trapped inside the car. "How about that baby?" Lisa could only chuckle, Yup... They do have a Korean drama life. "It rains on our wedding night! Let me just park in the garage so we don't..."

But before Lisa could finish what she was about to say, Jennie have squeeze herself and jumping towards the backseat. A teasing smile playing on her lips as she taps on the empty space beside her, as if motioning Lisa to come join her.

Lisa raises her brow in confusion but before she could answer back, Jennie already took her hand and pulls her with her.

"Nini... It's our wedding night... Our bedroom is just a few steps away!"

"I can't wait that long..."

They linger longer in their kiss, their hands have laid nothing more but feathery touches on their smooth skin, but it was enough to thrill them.

It was Jennie who pulls away from their kiss first, whispering her deep need to Lisa.

"Take me now baby..."

And they made love...

The different aches in Lisa's body made her woke up, it wasn't just from their cramp sleeping position, but because of what they did the whole night. But Lisa couldn't help but smile cockily at the memory, it was pain worth going through.

Her lips spread wider as she sees the cute girl curled up in her chest, stretching out in a yawn, before returning to Lisa's chest again.

"Hey... The rain has stop..." Lisa whispers and Jennie turns to her those cat eyes still innocent. And Lisa couldn't help but kiss Jennie on the lips again. How Jennie still manage to look so innocent even after everything, Lisa would never know. "You want to go inside?"

"Hmmmm...." Jennie hums softly before kissing Lisa's chest. "I have a better idea..."

"YAH! Slow down..." Lisa yells as Jennie starts to run along the shore...

"I thought you're an all star?" Jennie says teasingly... "Are you getting slow?!"

"It's because you feed me too much..." (A/N: Tell us Lisa, what did Jennie feeds you?! 😜😜😜 )

"Awww" Jennie walks over teasingly at Lisa... "My weakling old baby..." She continues to tease squeezing Lisa's cheeks.

Jennie quickly yelps as Lisa takes her and starts lifting her up in her arms...

"Lili! Stop!!!" Jennie commands between her laughs.

The two laughs as they wrestle along the shore. The two had finally clam down, trying to regain their breath after their little war.

They shared that smile again, that soft smile that was only meant for the both of them. Their arms made its way around each other, Jennie's around Lisa's shoulder, while Lisa pulls Jennie closer. Their bodies are swaying softly to the gentle tune of Lisa's hums. Jennie smiles by the crook of Lisa's neck, enjoying being serenaded by Lisa's song.

They press their foreheads together, and there was that sweet smile again. Enough to make each other fall harder...

"Kiss me, Mrs. Kim..."

Lisa smiles... "Your wish is my command, Mrs. Manoban!"

And as they lay their lips, the sky serves as a canvas to their happily ever after. The dark sky and the twinkling stars have now melted into an orange hue as the sun made its way to the world.

But somewhere behind the glorious morning, the Gemini sky was still watching them. It serves as their witness through both heartache and their happiness.

The one who gave them hope just when everything was falling apart... The one that made them realized that every pain and sacrifice is not there to pull them apart, but to draw them closer. The one that reassured them that they were still under one sky no matter how far apart they are. The one that pushes them to believed that no matter who tries to pull them away, or who doubt them that they could overcome it all, as long as they have each other.

And the one that prove to them time and time again that forever does exist, but forever is not meant for everyone, only for the once who fight for it.

And for both Jennie and Lisa, this wasn't their happy ending...

This was simply a new beginning...!
