I hold the small piece of paper in my hand while the other keeps a firm grip on the steering wheel as I drive through the unfamiliar neighborhood.

1743 Cornwall Lane is scribbled across the piece of paper in Lauren's handwriting. I roll my eyes remembering how she basically threw it at me when she walked into first hour this morning. "This is my address, don't be late or I'm not letting you in and I'll get some other nerd."

A big part of me wants to be late so she gets someone else and I won't have to do it anymore. She was in such a terrible mood this morning, right as class started she mouthed off to Mr. Black and got kicked out of class and I haven't since her since. I hope and pray her mood is better now that school is over and doesn't take her anger out on me.

The houses on this street are all large and look more like mansions. I finally find the house with the same address written on the piece of paper and my jaw drops. It's freaking huge, old Victorian style almost 3 times the size of my own house. The front yard is sloped making it look like it's on a hill, it's beautiful. I pull into the long driveway and park my car in front of the three car garage that has a basketball hoop.

I turn off the ignition, and pull out my phone checking the time.

4:25 PM

I'm 5 minutes early and my heart is beating super fast. I take a deep breath, I'm really about to be in Lauren Jauregui's house. Lauren freaking Jauregui. The bad girl, the convict, the girl who has sex with any girl who crosses her path.

And here I am sitting outside her house about to go inside and be alone with her. Only to tutor her, but what if she makes a move on me? No, why would she go for me? I'm a nobody with only one friend and I'm nothing like the girls she usually goes for, skinny blondes or girls with amazing style and curves in all the right places. Unlike me who has the body of a 12 year old boy, but thankfully my baby fat in my cheeks went away over the summer.

Why am I in the car feeling insecure about myself all of the sudden? I'm only here to tutor her and I'm pretty sure she won't make a move on me since Lauren didn't even want me to be here in the first place. On top of it all I'm dressed in cropped track pants and a Karl Lagerfeld hoodie and my hair thrown up in a loose pony tail, not looking the least bit attractive.

I check my phone again and it's 4:28pm. I better go in there, taking a deep breath I grab my backpack and adjust my glasses on the bridge of my nose. I hope Lauren doesn't tease me for them, I couldn't find my left contact this morning so I'm stuck with my glasses. I slam my door and head out.

Walking up to this mansion like home I stand in front of the wooden door and give it three big knocks while my heart pounds against my chest in anticipation.

The door opens and i relax a little when it's Mr Jauregui standing in the doorway.

"Camila! Thanks for coming!" He motions for me to come in with a big grin on his face and I can't help but return the smile.

"Hello."

He closes the door behind me and my eyes widen at the elegancy of their gigantic home and I realize just how loaded they are. Their house alone makes me feel poor.

I follow Mr Jauregui into the kitchen and he picks up an envelope on top of the marble countertop.

"This is for you," He hands it to me.

I open it up and see $500 in cash. What the?! We agreed on $300 this is crazy!

Right as I'm about to object on the price he speaks grabbing his briefcase off the floor.
