Sometimes with everything from promotions to fan signs to publicity, Daniel feels as though he's losing his mind. Sometimes he just needs to be reminded he is human. He needs rest too.

It wasn't like Daniel to ignore you like this, he'd normally be wondering if you've eaten or if you've been taking care of yourself as well. But this time it's different, he's submerged himself in loads of work and hasn't called in a few days. He has had time where he would be frustrated to the point of anger and taken it out on himself.

By the third time your call has been ignored, you've decided to take it upon yourself as best friend and girlfriend/boyfriend to go to the dorm and see if he was alright. Stopping at a local convenience store to get some vitamins and some of his favorite snacks.

Knocking on the door a few times Zach answered. He greeted you with a smile letting you in.

"Hi! ________, I haven't seen you in a while." Giving you a quick side hug he went back to doing his business "He's in his room, he hasn't been out in while though."

"Thank you, I'll make a note to come by more often, yeah?" You smiled as you took off your shoes replacing them with a pair of yellow slippers. He nodded in return and made your way through the dorm.

Although it's been a while it was almost second nature in your memory of how the dorm looked and where Daniel's room was.

Knocking on the door softly you could hear the sound of music playing. He was probably working on more music.

"I'm a little busy right now. Can it wait?" He called, his voice was strained and exhaustion was evident even if he didn't want anyone to know.

"No, I'm coming in okay?" You called opening the door.

When you caught sight of him it almost broke your heart you weren't paying more attention. His room was a mess with clothes all over the floor, his hair disheveled and his eyes so bleak and void of color. His stubble was growing a little more than even you know he'd like.

"Baby, hi?" He said almost surprised seeing you. "What're you doing here?" He stood and pulled you into a hug.

"Well, you haven't answered any of my calls so I thought I would come over, make sure you're okay and all..." You hugged him tightly.

You both stood there for a moment. He held you for what felt like forever. It wasn't until you heard choked sobs emerge from his chest that you pulled away to assess him.

His tears flowed and he covered his already puffy eyes with his arm. You could feel your cheery facade break and pull him into another hug.

"Baby, don't cry. I'm here okay. It's okay." you hushed holding him tighter. "Hey Bubba, how about this. you take a shower, get yourself cleaned up, and we can eat some snacks and what not and watch some t.v or movies." You tried to joke hoping to calm him down a bit. "Can we do that?"

He didn't say anything, he just nodded in agreement and finally let go.

You two laid in his bed, after what felt like hours you listened to him vent, spill all of his bottled feelings, like a tidal wave. so much he was holding in and wasn't letting on.

He laid atop of you like a child, you repeatedly ran your fingers through his soft brown hair and just hummed as he opened up to you.

When you moved so you could reach your phone he grunted in annoyance, grabbing your hand before you could even unlock it.

"No~ I haven't finished my story..." He whined pouting up at you, pursing his lips and showing puppy eyes."

"You're such a baby. You really want to watch movies?" You teased giving him a kiss.

"No actually, and I'm not a baby." He huffed giving you a soft bite on your shoulder.

"Hey! What was that for?"

"I wanna do something else actually..." He smiled giving you a kiss

"What is it baby boy?" You laughed as his cheeks flushed a rouge hue.
