it's around 7:00pm when Corbyn picks you up in his shitty toyota corolla, the backseat stuffed with various pillows and blankets as well as your favourite snacks. your local drive in was having a disney movie marathon tonight and you practically forced Corbyn to take you the moment you found out about it. Corbyn, being the loving boyfriend he is, agreed to take you and pay for your tickets.

the sky is painted with various hues and tones of pink, red and orange as the two of you make your way to the outskirts of town, the setting sun casting a warm glow on the inside of his car. you both tell each other about your day before falling into a comfortable silence and Corbyn softly hums along to the radio, which is quietly playing ribs by lorde. one of his hands rests on top of the steering wheel and the other gently grips your thigh. the smooth pad of his thumb glides over your skin, giving you goosebumps.

by the time Corbyn pulls into the drive-in the sun is just barely peeking over the horizon as the sky turns into deeper shades of blue and purple and small sparkling dots begin to appear in the dark. he pays for both of your tickets before he drives around to look for an empty spot to park.

"is right here ok?" Corbyn asks as he pulls into a vacant spot beside a white marker. "yeah here's great!" you say in response and you shoot him a quick smile.

the two of you opt for an empty spot closer to the back, away from the minivans filled with hordes of children that are jacked on candy and their already exhausted parents. it's a tuesday night so it isn't busy; the only car close to you is three spots away. Corbyn switches the car off and tunes into the radio station as you pull the blankets and pillows into the front seats.

by the time the two of you make yourself comfortable with the mass amounts of blankets in Corbyn's car, the ads that were playing on the large screen cease and the movie begins to play. the first movie is cinderella, not particularly your favourite disney movie but a good one nonetheless.

you and Corbyn talked and giggled throughout the movie, making various comments and remarks as the film played in the background. "hey baby, can you pass me the m&m's?" he asks you and search through the various bags of candy you have on your lap before handing the right one to him, your hand gently brushing against his as you pass him the bag. thinking nothing about the small touch, you turn back towards the screen and continue watching the movie.

the action didn't go unnoticed by Corbyn, however. his eyes had been on you all night, taking in how cute you looked in his hoodie and how your freshly washed hair intoxicated him. although your hand only grazed his briefly he couldn't help but notice how warm you were and how soft your skin was, causing him to yearn for your touch.

cinderella ends and you rearrange yourself amongst the pile of blankets that are covering you. the car is starting to get hot - Corbyn only wanted the windows cracked open so no mosquitos would get in - so you decide to uncover your legs, which feel sticky with sweat.

the second movie starts - sleeping beauty, much to yours and Corbyn's dismay. you had nothing against the film, it was just kind of boring. you sit with your legs propped up on the dashboard, failing to notice how Corbyn's eyes continue to stray from the screen as he instead stared at you.

you begin to crawl back over the console to continue watching the movie as Corbyn grabs your waist. "stay here and cuddle with me!" Corbyn says as he extends his arms and makes grabby hands. you comply with his request as you move to sit in between his legs and lean against his chest and he wraps his arms around you in a warm embrace. "i love you y/n" he says as he places a soft kiss to your cheek before he covers both of you with a blanket. "i love you too Corbyn" you say in response, feeling at home in his arms.
