[ M I K A Y L A ]
Today is now Saturday and Connor and I are supposed to go out for lunch or something, I don't know. He just told me to dress up cause we were gonna go out.

Even though Jace only left on Sunday, I'm still really happy because he comes back on Wednesday for Thanksgiving break before leaving again on Saturday then he'll be back in two weeks for Christmas.

Not really having anything to wear in my closet, I just pulled out this beige hoodie dress thing and slid it on. I tied up my white sneakers, grabbed my purse and my wallet before I heard Connor honking down stairs.

I carried a brush with me before leaving my room, heading out the door and into Connor's red truck. "For the first time since my birthday I'm in a car that isn't mine."

He laughed, turning onto the road. "Bruh, what are you wearing? It's like twenty degrees out."

"Fashion has no weather," I told him as I pulled out that little sun protector thing of the car that has a mirror. I hope y'all get it cause I don't know name's and I'm too lazy to ask. I began to brush through my hair and fixed a messy bun.

"I see you're wearing the shoes I got you for Christmas," Connor said out of the blue.

"Oh, for real?" I glanced down at my shoes. "Didn't even notice."

"Anyway, how's Vonte?"

"Better than ever. I honestly feel like he's slowly warming up to me," I smiled widely. "But youngin has been so clingy lately. It's ain't like him."

Connor parked the car in front of a place I didn't know and we both stepped out and walked into what I now recognized to be a restaurant. "Table for two."

"Follow me, sir," the waitor told him and guided us to a table near a window. Outside the window was this rainbow fountain thing with swans so it was really cute and of course I took a few pictures.

"Yo, you think Vonte has a thing for my sister?" Connor asked as we both skimmed through the menus.

"Know it. You fine with it?" I looked up at him.

Connor shrugged, closing his menu and placing it down. "I mean, I don't really mind. The kid's pretty chilled and I think Kenza liked him too."

I smiled and nodded as the waitor came over. I ordered lasagna and Connor got Ravioli.

"Hey, what's four plus nine?" I asked looking down at my phone.

"Thirteen."

"So that would be one in the morning," I said, clicking Jace's name on the facetime list.

He answered at the last ring and the room was completely dark.

"Hey baby," I smiled.

"Man, what do you want at one in the morning?"

I chuckled. "Thought you said I could call whenever?"

I heard him laugh before there was shuffling and I heard a door close before a light was turned on, followed by the spring of a bed as he layed down. His chin was buried in the pillow, hair all over the place from sleep and the stains of dry drool evident on his lips. "Where are you?"

I smiled and turned the camera to Connor who was busy on his phone.

"Is that Connor?"

Jace's voice made Connor look up. He smiled and raised a peace sign before looking back down at his phone.

I chuckled and turned the camera back to me. "We're on a date."

"Why you on a date with Connor?" He furrowed his brows.

"It's just a date as friends, youngin. Chill," I smiled.

"Man," he pushed his curls back and yawned, "why did you call me?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I love you and you make me the happiest girl in the world. And that your happiness is my happiness and your sadness is mine as well. Your smile is the best sight in the world and my love for you is eternal with no expiry date. I love you and I only want the best for you my love. I love you Jace Morgan," I smiled.

His eyes were wide in confusion, his mouth agape. "Yo," he shook his head, trying to gather his thoughts. "If this is how girls break up with guys these days, I ain't for it–"

"I'm not breaking up with you," I laughed. "I just wanted to let you know I love you."

Jace smiled back. "I love you too, princess. I'll call you later."

"Alright, baby."

I hung up and looked at Connor who looked tired, annoyed and irritated, his head facing the ceiling and his eyes rolled back. "Make friends, they said. It will be fun, they said."

I laughed before feeling my phone vibrate. I read the caller ID and smiled as I answered it. "FIIIIIIINNNNNNN!"

That exaggeration earned me many stares from the other diners but I could care less.

"Hey," he said, his eyes red and he looked tired and confused.

"Finn? Finn, what's going on? Is everything okay?" I questioned, my heart pumping rapidly.

"Can you just...come over?"

I nodded and stood, grabbing my bag "I'm coming right now. Don't move, alright?"

He nodded. "Hurry," he whispered before cutting it off.

"What–What's wrong?" Connor stood, putting on his jacket.

"Something's wrong with Finn."

Things take a turn of events from here. After the next chapter, it will be awhile before you here from Finn again which doesn't really matter cause you barely here anything anyway.

But, he will have his own book that will explain everything, starting from a year ago.

Keep reading. It's a flood.

Oh, and Merry belated Christmas?
