S/N - Sister's Name
Y/L/N - Your Last Name

I smile slightly as I watch my boyfriend of four months running around the house, making sure everything looks perfect.

"Ash, calm down, the house looks fine." I stand up and walk over to him, grabbing his hand as he walks back into the living room.

He sighs and runs his free hand through his hair, looking down at me "Sorry I'm so stressed baby, I just want everything to be perfect."

I stand on my tiptoes and brush my lips gently against his, squeezing his hand gently. "You don't need to be so nervous. My parents are only going to be here for a few minutes to drop off my little sister, then they'll leave."

"I know, but I'm still nervous. I've never met anyone in your family and I want them to like me." He says and picks me up, holding me in one arm.

"They will like you Ashley. I've told you so many times that as long as I'm happy with you, they'll absolutely love you."

"Yeah, but you know how much there is about me online. What if they think I'm still a player?" He asks.

"It's obvious you've changed. Think about the girls you were with before me, I'm completely different from them."

He smiles softly "I guess that's true. And you're the best one that I've ever been with." He kisses me gently before practically dropping me in panic when he hears the doorbell ring.

I laugh slightly "It'll be okay baby." I smile before walking over and opening the door.

Stood in front of me are my dad and my mum, who is carrying my three year old sister.

I feel Ashley's heat behind me as he stands behind me. I can tell that he's breathing a little heavier than usual as if he's nervous.

I lean back slightly so my head is on his chest. Being close to me usually calms him down when he's nervous.

"Hey mum, hey dad." I smile "Hi
S/N." I say and take her from my mum, holding her in both arms even though she's quite small and most people could hold her in one.

"You must be Ashley." My dad says and holds his hand out for Ashley to shake, which he does.

"It's nice to meet you, Mr and Mrs
Y/L/N." He smiles.

My mum smiles back at him. "It's nice to meet you too. As much as we'd love to stay, we really must go. We're going to be late."

"Of course. I'll see you guys later." I say and turn around, handing S/N to Ashley so that I can give my mum and dad a hug.

I hug them both before they kiss my sister on the cheek and leave. After they've walked out the door, I close it behind them, smiling.

"See? That wasn't so bad, was it? They barely even spoke to you." I smile and stand on my tiptoes, kissing his cheek before taking my little sister back.

For most of the morning, we sit around with S/N, watching cartoons, playing games and reading to her.

She asks if we can go to the park around 11am. Ashley immediately says yes, obviously quite excited to take her, making me smile. We pack a picnic together, making sandwiches and packing some salad and snacks.

They have definitely already taken to each other, which makes me happy. After all, I love them both very much. I think they're getting along because they're both childish.

We decide to walk to the park, as it's not far and it's a relatively nice walk. Me and Ashley walk on either side of my little sister, holding her hands.

Once we get to the park, she lets go of my hand, keeping hold of Ashley's. She drags him over to the playground, making me laugh softly, happy that she seems to like Ashley.

I watch them for a while, watching him take S/N on the swings, slide, and the climbing wall, which he obviously has to help her with. Them both look so happy, smiling and laughing while they play.

I smile as I watch, taking out my phone to take some pictures. I really want to remember this moment. He's so great with kids, and this is the first time I'm seeing that.

After a little while, a mother sits down next to me, her child running over to a group of other children to play with them. She smiles as she watches before looking at me for a second.

"Is that your daughter over there?" She asks, following my line of sight before I look at her. "And is that your husband? They're so cute together. He's so good with her." She says.

I laugh softly when she says that, shaking my head. "No, that's my sister and boyfriend." I smile, looking back over at them.

"Really? You guys look like you'd made such a cute little family." She says.

S/N runs back over to me and sits on the bench next to me, hugging me as Ashley walks over a little slower than she did.

"Y/N, I'm hungry. Can we eat the picnic?" She asks, looking up at me.

I smile and tell her that of course we can. Ash carries the picnic basket over to the grassy field for us and I lay out the picnic blanket.

We sit down together and eat our picnic, me leaning against Ashley slightly. I tell him about what the woman was saying, making him laugh as he wraps his arm around my shoulders, pulling me to him gently.

"Well, if this is what the genetics in your family do, I wouldn't mind being a real family with you."

I blush slightly when he says that but I try to hide it, making him chuckle.

S/N looks at us. "Are you two going to have a baby?" She asks, making me splutter a little bit.

Ashley laughs and kisses my cheek. "Maybe some day, S/N. For now, I'm fine with just looking like a family. But one day I would love to be a real family."
