The school day is over and it felt like 7 minute rather than 7 hours.
"Am I driving or are you walking" Houston asks still walking towards his truck with my hand in his.
"I think I'll walk" I stop and go to pull my hand out of his but he squeezes tighter.
"are you sure" he gives me a worried expression.
"mhm, I'm positive" I assure touching his face to reassure him, he puts his face in my hand more like a little puppy. Well he is a dog.
"can I come with you" he gives me the puppy dog eyes, making me sigh.
"I'd rather walk on my own" I tell him making him sigh before he kisses me and pulls me into a tight hug.
"well, bye then" he whispers
"bye, maybe I'll see you tonight" I suggest and he nods his head. I run to the sidewalk and Houston runs to his truck Titus already inside. My parents and I live in the pack house which is only about three miles from the school. Both my parents are constantly working so they thought it would be better for me to have other people while they are gone. It feels I have walked only about mile when i decide to just run in my wolf form, my wolf is a pretty mahogany colour and has violet coloured eyes. I reach the pack house in less than a minute. Shifting back to my human form, i walk through the first door.
"Hello Tegan" Alissa; the blond girl behind the desk greets me. I nod to her and stick my card in the scanner the doors unlock and I walk inside, up to the fourth floor. I'm about to walk to my room when I see phoenix at the end of the hallway. I stand there with my mouth in an O. He looks up at me and smirks.
"why hello there little mate" Phoenix purrs. My surprised expression quickly turns into a glare.
"no" I snap at him before running to my room and slamming the door.
"No what?" Phoenix asks through the door.
"No. . . your face" I spit not being able to come up with a better come back. He chuckles before I see the door nob turn and he pushes open the door. Crap I didn't lock it.
"get out" I scream at him he looks hurt for split second but then his arrogant facade is back.
"oh c'mon" he takes a few steps towards me and I take a few steps back.
"don't be afraid of me" Phoenix commands.
"why shouldn't I , you were kicked out of a pack that YOU ruled. That's pretty much unheard of, who knows what someone would have to do for that to happen." I back up till the back up legs hit my bed frame.
" You. dont. know. me" he a walks closer to me till our noses are almost touching. I try to move away from him but his arms quickly trap me.
"We are mates" phoenix looks down at me, starring directly into my eyes.
"I-I don't want you" I look away from his eyes so I don't see his hurt expression. He growls; frustrated. I cringe away from him and he growls once more before cupping my face and pressing his lips to mine. I gasp as the electric shocks shoot through me. I stand there dazed, but I eventually realize what's happening and pull back. I push him off of me.
"Get out" I scream at the top of my lungs.
"sweethe-" Phoenix starts but i cut him off with another scream.
"No, I'm not yours. I don't want you. you are not my mate" Phoenix looks devastated.
"I'm sorry" he murmurs and walks out the door. I run my fingers through my hair and pace around my room. Why does this have to be so difficult? I look at my clock and see its 4:00. Feeling suddenly tired I get ready for bed . laying down under the covers I fall into a restless sleep.
