You're Mine, Not His

Chapter One

  I pull on my dark skinny jeans along with a peach colored sweater. I walk down stairs grabbing a banana on my way out.

"Tegan!" I hear the familiar sound of my boyfriends voice. I turn around with a smile on my face, happy to see him. He smiles back brightly.

"hey Houston" I walk across the street to where he waits next to his black pick up truck. As soon as I'm arms length away he pulls me into a bear hug.

"I missed you" Houston mumbles, burying his face in my neck.

"you too" I reply wrapping my arms around his waist.

"okay, okay, we all missed each other now get in" Titus; Houstons' bestfriend jokes while poking his head out the back seat window. Houston gives me one last kiss on the lips before walking to passenger door and opening the door for me. I climb in after politely thanking him. Houston gets in and we drive towards the school.

"so you trying out for football again?" Titus asks me. Yes I'm a girl that plays football.

"of course" I reply like it was obvious.

"Good cuz we can't loose our star running back" He ruffles my dark brown hair. I playfully glare at him and he chuckles lightly. 

"what about you Hou, you going for baseball" I turn to Houston, He gives me a toothy grin and I see the familiar glint in his eyes that is always there when we talk about baseball.

"Yup" he exclaims popping the p.

"Cool" I grab his hand and he intertwines his fingers with mine. We soon arrive at school and I internally grone. The usual cliches are scattered on the front lawn of the school. After the truck is parked we all hop out, Houston grabs my hand and pulls me closer to him protectively. whats his deal. We walk to the group of so called 'jocks ' but they're actually really nice guys. Me , being the girl that doesn't really get along with other girls that well.

"hey" one of my bestfriends Eddie wraps his arm around my shoulder. Houston growls at him a little and I scowl at him. His eyes immediately turn innocent and he kisses my cheek. I turn back to Eddie and see his nose scrunched up.

"eww, keep the loving doving stuff away from me" he whines.

" sorry dude, just can't help it" Houston shrugs placing his head on my shoulder from behind. 

"bro you've gone soft" Eddie shakes his head in dissapointment. 

" actually I'm harder than ever" Houston winks. I feel my face blush bright red and I elbow Houston in the gut.

"whoa , well that escalated quickly" Eddies eyes have gone big. They both burst out laughing. 

"hey have you heard the news" Titus buts into the conversation.

"What news" I question looking at Eddie and Houston, both of they're faces have gone pale and they're glancing around nervously. 

"There's a new kid, former alpha of the black skies pack,  remember he got banned from his own pack" Titus whispers and now it's my turn for my eyes to go big.

"what" I shout.

"shhh" Titus scolds me and I quickly shut up.

"is he here yet" I look around nervously,  no one knows why he got banned from his pack but there are plenty of rumors.

" no, not yet" Titus sniffs the air. I let out a breath I was holding . Going in to Houstons arms he kisses my head and holds me tightly against him. Titus sniffs the air once more but this time his nostrils flare and his eyes dart to a space in the parking lot. I look over my shoulder and see a pitch black comaro sports car with a dark gray strip going down the middle. The door opens and a guy with golden colored hair and bright brown eyes walks out. He takes a look at all the groups before Striding confidently over to . . . our group!
