Chapter 10

~ Saturday afternoon ~
I awoke to cool air running across my face , I slowly opened my eyes squinting at first then I opened them fully , where was I ? I sat up and stretched before realising I was still in Finn and Jacks room and that Liv had gone to stay with Grace for the weekend , I slowly stood up and walked through the open patio doors and over to the balcony gently leaning on the railings and looking over the beautiful LA skyline , it was only slightly dark out which made me wonder what time it was and where were Jack and Finn, I turned around and headed back inside to grab my phone from the coffee table, as I did so I noticed Jack sitting on his bed in his MacBook I presume he was editing his video still , as I looked over at him he looked up at me and smiled " Well good afternoon" he smirked closing the lid of his laptop, "You fell asleep halfway through the first movie you light weight it's not even late" Jack laughed putting his laptop on his bedside , I put my phone in my pocket and walked over and sat opposite Jack on his bed with my legs crossed "Well that's not my fault I was tired okay , jet-lag Jack jet-lag" I laughed " where's Finn at?" I asked looking around the hotel room , " Oh he went down to the pool a while ago he's probably sunbathing... Didn't he text you ? He normally does" Jack told me getting up and walking to the other side of the room where his phone was charging , I quickly checked my phone to realise that it was in fact dead "Damn , my phones dead " I mumbled , Jack laughed before checking his own phone and saying "Oh wait he texted me he said for us to go and join him once your awake" "Oh okay I'll go and put my phone on charge and get changed!" I exclaimed happily "Actually Skye I really need to finish editing this video it won't take long like half hour tops so I'm going to stay here and just get it done but you go, I'll see you later little blue " Jack replied walking over to hug me before I left their room and walked the short journey to my room and getting changed into my white bikini with a gold hoop in between the bra bit and on the hips of the bottom bit and slipping on my white flip flops and French braiding my hair into pigtails , I plugged my phone in and grabbed my pool bag and chucked in a bright purple towel and grabbed my dark blue tie dye kimono and threw it over the top of my bikini and slid on my sunglasses and with that I left and walked down to the pool , i couldn't see Finn anywhere but I found his stuff scattered around a sunbed so set all my stuff on the one next to his and threw my hair up into a messy bun before getting into the pool it as nice and warm so I decided to go underwater - I can open my eyes under water so I can still see- as I was swimming under water I heard a faint splash and loads tiny bubbles appeared in a rush enclosing around me , I knew that it was Finn who had jumped in so I surfaced from underwater and saw Finn floating on his back in the deep end not to far from me , he hasn't noticed I'm here I though , I smiled to myself before swimming over to him and jumping on him , he screamed and quickly became up right before laughing once he saw me "Skye ! " he shrieked splashing me , and with that we had a massive water fight splashing each other and chasing each other around the pool and laughing, a few hours later we ended up both sunbathing in our sun beds.
