"Why are you crying?" A little sun kissed boy asked. Keith looked up. "I-I'm not crying." Keith stuttered, wiping his eyes. The tan boy just frowned. "Yeah you are." The tan boy said. The tan boy sat next to Keith. "Please tell me?" The tan boy asked again. "Why aren't you treating me like everyone else?" Keith asked, the tan boy confused. "What do you mean?" The tan boy asked.
"The Missus said I was ugly and a demon, cause of my eyes." Keith cried, hanging his head in shame. The tan boy frowned. "You aren't ugly! You are so pretty! And you aren't a demon cause of your eyes, they're so beautiful! If anything, you'd be the prettiest angel alive!" The tan boy yelled. Keith snapped his head back, tears still falling. "Really? You really think I'm pretty?" Keith asked. The tan boy nodded quickly. Keith smiled. "Thank you." Keith chuckled, wiping his tears.
"Hey, your new. What's your name?" The tan boy asked. "Keith." Keith replied. "Keef, I like it. My name is Lance." Lance introduced. "Can we be friends?" Keith asked. Lance laughed. "Of course Keefy!" Lance smiled. Keith smiled back. "C'mon Keefy, play soccer with me!" Lance laughed, pulling Keith's hand along. Keith just let him be pulled along, chuckling the whole way. "There you are Lance! Come play with us!" One of the boys from the soccer field yelled, holding the soccer ball.
Lance smiled and waved. "Can Keith play to?" Lance asked. "That freak can't play with us! Why are you even with him?! Get away from him! He'll make you sick!" The boy yelled. Keith stepped back, tears threatening to spill once again. Lance's face turned to anger, his brows furrowing. "SHUT UP!" Lance yelled. Keith paused. The boy growled. "What did you just say to me?" The boy asked, shoving his sleeves up. "I. Said. Shut. UP!" Lance yelled, throwing a punch at the boy.
The boy yelled in anger, throwing punches back. Keith screamed and ran towards the two boys, trying to split them up. Eventually he did, but he got a punch in return. Keith crumbles to the floor and went into a fetal position. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!" Lance yelled punching the boy again, harder then before, knocking the kid out. Lance falls down to Keith, hugging him and cooing at him. Kids surround the two boys and then the missus. "What in the blazing wonders has happened here?!" The Missus yelled. One of the boys told on Lance, earning him a punishment.
"Missus, please don't. It was my fault, not his." Keith begged. The Missus looked at Keith. "What did you do now?" The Missus asked. Keith paused, then answering. "I punched Leo, Lance didn't do it, I swear." Keith lied. The Missus then grabbed Keith's tiny frail wrist. She kept squeezing and squeezing, screams of pain heard from Keith. One of the boys held back Lance, yelling in fear for Keith. She squeezed tighter til she heard a crack and could see fat tears rolling down his cheeks. She let him go, the boy letting Lance go. Lance ran to Keith, crying loudly.
"I'm so sorry Keith, I'm so sorry!" Lance cried out. Keith just kept crying as the pain got worse. "Somebody please, Keith needs a doctor!" Lance yelled, everyone just went to their own devices. Lance then picked Keith up, planning on leaving to get medical attention for the boy. "Where do you think your going?" The Missus asked. Lance looked over at the Missus. "A doctor. Since you broke his wrist!" Lance yelled.
The Missus growled. "You won't get help, he doesn't deserve it! He's a monster! I feel so bad for his mother, he must've been such a pain." The Missus added. Lance just ran with Keith out the front door. The Missus ran after the two boys. "Where the hell do you think your going! Get back here you fucking brat!" The Missus yelled, gaining attention from streetwalkers, then one person finally standing up. "Hey, why are you chasing these kids?" A man asked, as his wife tended to the kids. "Those damn brats ran out of my orphanage, they need to be punished!" The Missus growled.
"John, the boy's got a broken wrist!" The wife yelled. John then snarled. "You aren't going anywhere." John said before cuffing her up. The Missus thrashed in the cuffs but got no where. "We are taking you to the police station. Emily, take those kids to the hospital." John ordered, then sending back up to the orphanage.

Emily tried and tried again but could not get either boy to talk. "Honey, I know I'm a stranger but you need to talk to me so I can help you." Emily said. Lance then gave up. "The Missus broke his wrist, I saw her do it." Lance admitted. Emily was surprised but kept asking him questions. "Why did she do it?" She asked. "He lied, saying he punched a boy so that I didn't get the punishment. I punched Leo, not him." Lance replied. Emily frowned. "Why did you punch him?" Emily asked. "I-I, I punched him because he was calling Keith a monster and a freak and..." Lance replied tears falling once again. "Keith! I'm so sorry!" Lance cried, hugging Keith tightly."It's ok Lance, it wasn't your fault." Keith said, hugging Lance back. Emily smiled at the two boys. "Are you two brothers?" Emily asked. Keith shook his head. "He's My bestest friend in the whole entire world!" Lance smiled, messing with Keith's hair. Emily chuckled. "Emily, they are free to go back now." John said. "I don't want to go back there miss. Please don't make me." Keith frowned. "I'm sorry sweetheart." Emily started to tear up. Emily brought the two boys along back to the orphanage.
"Thank you so much, I'm so sorry about her." The staff said. John just smiled and said it's fine. Emily squatted down to Keith and Lance. "I'm so sorry, I promise I'll come back for you." Emily smiled weakly, then sending the two boys off. Keith started crying as lance rubbed his back. Emily started crying into her husbands shoulder. "I can't do it John I need them. They are suffering." Emily cried. "I'm sorry Emily but we can't have them now, we still in debt. I promise, when the times right, we'll save them from here." John replied.
