i wanted to post something before i went to bed, so this might be c r a p

tyler's day is a constant routine, the long hours are almost never the same. the reasoning has nothing to do with certain rules or his parents guidance, tyler is just very strict about what he does how he will preform a certain task.
you might think that tyler's world is extremely strict, but it is actually the opposite. it is very low key and forgiving to most mistakes, unless you break the unbreakable rule- mixing. tyler has no worry in his mind that he will mix though. he had a beautiful blue girlfriend named jenna.
tyler loves her with his whole heart, he would do anything for that girl. he does have friends that are red though. his best friend pete is red, and some of his classmates are red as well.
you'd think since mixing is so forbidden that the government would be more careful about it, but they trust their people. in the past 18 years there have only been three cases of purple. this is a successful rate for the blue and red world.
tyler's morning goes a little bit like this:
5:30am- wake up. 5:35am- go to the bathroom, turn shower water on, brush teeth 5:40am- get in shower and bathe 5:50am- get out of shower, put contacts in 5:55am- dry off, get dressed for the day 6:00am- sit on phone for about 20 minutes and check social media 6:20am- plug phone back into charger and head downstairs 6:22am- make a bowl of cereal and eat breakfast 6:45am- take bowl to sink and rinse 6:50am- go back up stairs, grab phone and school bag 6:51- go downstairs again and pet the cat 6:58- put shoes on and go out to car and start it 7:05- find a killer playlist and drive to pete's house 7:15- arrive at pete's house 7:20- drive to school 7:30- arrive at school 7:35- park car and go to first period
after school tyler typically goes to jenna's house to hang out, sometimes pete comes over too. once tyler arrives at his girlfriends house he puts his car in park and walks into the basement through the backdoor.

it autocorrected to "backhoe" and i screamed
"hey jen." he smiled sweetly at the girl and sat in the beanbag sitting opposite of her. he loved jenna's basement, there was always snacks, a gaming system, and even movies! tyler loves movies.
jenna turned to face her blue boyfriend kissing him on the cheek lightly. "hey ty," his heart fluttered at the words, he was so in love with this girl. tyler thinks back to where he was in life when he met jenna, it was freshman year though, so he tries not to dwell on it too much. the first year of high school is always awkward for everyone. but now that they're juniors he feels as if time has flown by way too fast.
the two had moved to the couch now and were cuddling. tyler was sat upright while jenna had her head in his lap while he was stroking her hair, practically petting her head.
the movie "the edge of seventeen" was playing and tyler was engrossed in it. the flic happened to be one of his favorites (mine too omg)
after the movie tyler checked his phone
6:58pm
he got up carefully from the couch kissing jenna's temple before he left a note and heading out to his car. once he reached his house he went straight to his room. he had put on yet another movie, this one being "the greatest showman ever."
"ladies and gents this is the moment you've waited for" tyler sang along happily, jumping onto his bed

by the time the song was over tyler was out of breathe and exhausted. he flopped back down to the bed and just laid there breathing heavily. once he had calmed down he enough he decided he'd get out his piano.
tyler loves music, and loves to create it as well. he's only had the instrument for a couple of years but has already written a few songs. tyler thinks back to his favorite and starts playing

he didn't realize he had been crying until the last note played.
i really hope you guys are enjoying this fic so far! i'm really excited about this one and i can't wait until tyler and joshua finally meet. also- i still can't believe josh proposed to debby, it's still not fully sunk in yet lmaooo
