Step one: Never lie. If you lie, the truth will come out eventually.
Step two: Be neat and orderly. You have to be professional.
Step three: Don't mess up. You will never get a chance again.

College was over for Beth. She has a high grade point average and a degree. Coming out of Columbia, she poised for greatness. Well, she almost had greatness. Beth had been top of her class. Everything went downhill since Sebastian Stan became her boss. She was ready to take on the world.

(Eight Months ago)

Beth is sitting on the bed. She is unemployed with a college degree. A newspaper laid on her bed with  red circles on places of employment. She dialed each number. No one was hiring new blood. There was no use for calling. Beth walks down the street with a paper coffee cup in her hand. She grabs another newspaper from the newspaper stand. Beth looks through the employment section. She sees an ad for an assistant for an actor. Grabbing her phone from her purse, Beth dials the number in the paper. It is ringing on the other end. A woman picks up the phone.

"Hello," She said, "This is Karen Gereson. How can I help you?" Karen asks Beth.

"My name is Beth Clarke." Beth introduced herself to her. "I was wondering about the assistant job for the actor." Beth told her.

"Come by my office tomorrow. We will fill out the paperwork." Karen told Beth on the phone.

"At what time?" Beth asked.

"Eight in the morning." Karen answered.

Karen gave Beth the street address as Beth wrote it on her hand. After the conversation, Beth heads back to her place. She went into her walk in closet to find proper clothes. Beth tries on one of each outfit. She finds the prefect one. In the morning, she gets ready to go over to Karen's office. She had to take the subway and the bus to her destination. Beth looks at the clock in the lobby. She was on time. Waiting in the lobby for half a hour, Karen comes out with her heels clicking below her.

"Beth Clarke." Karen said.

Beth stood up and went over to Karen, "Beth Clarke," Beth introduce herself. Both women shook hands then they went to Karen's office.

Once in her office, Karen sat down at her desk. She opens her laptop, "Recently, you graduated from Columbia University here in New York City. Business Degree. You were in the honor society there. Impressive resume, Miss Clarke." Karen read off of the laptop screen.

Beth nods, "I can't be perfect, Mrs. Gereson." She told the other woman.

"I want you to fill out an application. My client will review it. He will call you if you get the job." Karen told Beth. "He's picky in who he trusts now." She said.

Beth looks at Karen, "Who is your client?" Beth asked.

"Sebastian Stan, dear." She answers Beth's question.

"Never hear of him." said Beth.

Karen hands her an application for the job. Beth begins to fill it out as Karen types on her keyboard. Karen's iPhone beeps a couple times. Karen looks at the screen. She responds to the messages on her phone. After Beth filled out the application, she hand over to Karen. She reads the application. Beth left Karen's office. She went back to her place.

For two weeks, Beth did not hear anything from Karen or a phone call from Sebastian about the job. She did her laundry and cleans her kitchen. Her phone began to ring on the kitchen table. Beth grabs and takes the call. She saw an unfamiliar number on the screen when she picks up the phone.
