Day 12.

Alan's POV

I walked down the hallway of the school smiling at my boyfriend. He wasn't out to anyone here yet or his family. I mean, it was the cliche football star and nerd kinda thing, plus Vic wasn't ready to come out yet. It did suck a little though since I wanted to kiss him and hold his hand here too.

I gave him a look before I headed to the bathroom. I waited for a few minutes before he came in, smiling a little.

"Hey, when do you leave for your family vacation again?" I asked curiously.

"The day before Christmas Eve," Vic said coming over to me, "Then I'm back a few days before New Years Eve and we can hang out. I really want a New Years kiss this year."

I smiled, "Yeah?"

"Yeah, I would love it."

"Well I'll happily give you one," I told him with a smile as I took a step towards him, but stopped moved right back when someone walked in. Vic let out a soft sigh. I just shrugged before I left the bathroom. I wanted to spend some time with him at school because I felt like I never got to. I mean we've been dating for ten months and I still couldn't kiss my own boyfriend in the halls. If there was anything I wanted for Christmas it would be something lame like that. I just wished he would come out already.

I wasn't going to rush him though, that would be unfair.

I sighed as I walked to my next class. I'd get over this feeling, I always did. I knew Vic loved me, it was just taking him time to show that to everyone else.

When lunch came around I sat down beside me friends and watched Vic be with his from a distance. He was so happy and he just had the brightest smile too.

"You're staring at him," my best friend told me.

"What?" I said looking over to Kellin.

"You've been staring at Mister Football Star for like all of lunch," he said.

"I haven't been."

"You have, I think you even started drooling a little," he teased.

"I did not."

"You totally did, just go talk to him or something."

"Can't."

"Why?"

"Because that's embarrassing."

"How is that embarrassing?" Kellin questioned.

"It just is okay?"

"Here, I'll do it!" He exclaimed.

"No!"

Kellin ignored me and stood up to go talk to Vic.

"Kellin, no!" I shouted following after him.

"Hey Fuentes," Kellin said.

My eyes went wide and I mouthed to Vic that I was sorry as all his friends starred at the two of us.

"I've noticed you keep eye fucking my best friend, when are you going to ask him out?" Kellin asked haughtily.

"Kellin!" I shouted.

Kellin put a hand up, shutting me up. "Well, Vic?"

"You don't have to answer-"

"Alan, shut up."
