This is a novella I have decided to write for my personal project which is required in the year MYP 5 for the IB curriculum. The topic I have decided to focus on in this story is self esteem. I chose this topic as this is something a lot of people, including myself struggle with in today's society. For as long as I can remember, I've been quite sensitive about myself. I always found myself comparing my talents and appearances to others. My lack of self esteem made me anxious of every little thing I do, which made me pretty isolated. As I grew up, I found others who struggled with the same problem. For me, it created a sense of relief- to know that I was not the only one and that there were others who could relate to me. I have decided to dedicate this novella to those who suffer from self esteem issues. I want them to read my story and find some comfort and support from it. In addition, this story is also for anyone interested in learning how self esteem can impact a person's life in various ways.
