Who said that tea is only good for drinking? Think outside of the box!
Food Infusion:
Add some brewed tea into some foods such as breakfast and desserts. The outcome will amaze you. Try a dinner idea if you're adventurous enough!
Here are some of my favorite examples of tea infused Foods:
-Earl Grey muffins
- Jasmine and vanilla cupcakes
- Chamomile raw cashew cake
- Tea butter
- Add rice tea (such as tea of inquiry by Republic of Tea) to stir fries
- Green tea matcha and chocolate ice cream
- Chai cookies
So on and so forth.
Hydrate your skin:
Keeping your skin hydrated is just as important as keeping the rest of your body hydrated. In fact, dry skin can be a sign of poor health. Balance out the pH levels in your skin by bathing in tea or giving yourself a tea facial. I've done both of those things with Earl Grey tea. The aroma is so soothing!
Make a Bird Feeder:
Pack biodegradable/edible muslin bags with herbs that are sweet like berries, such as rosehips. I've seen flocks of birds go crazy for those things!
Dye or Paint Something:
Many artists use tea or coffee to dye clothes and even paint with tea. Tea gives you a large variety of watercolors!
On The Go, Mouthwash:
After a meal or snack, freshen your breath by drinking some peppermint tea. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties .
What "outside of the box" ideas can you come up with?
