Why don't you wanna be with me?
His words echoed through my head all day. I didn't answer his question due to Alexa calling me at that exact moment. She needed us back at the venue. It was pretty urgent, they were having problems with sound check and needed Mitchel to test everything out. So he pretty much just got up and we left together.
However, that doesn't mean I've forgotten it happened. He asked me a couple hours ago and I haven't thought about anything else. It wasn't that I didn't wanna be with him. I have issues.
I decided to take some pictures at soundcheck to get my mind off of things. I got my camera from my case with all my gear in it. Alexa seemed to notice my urgency. "You good?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm good. Just in the mood to take pictures."I lied. I could tell she didn't buy it but she knew enough that if I didn't wanna talk about it to her of all people it just wasn't happening.
I put the right lense on my camera and left the bus. I walked around the corner of the parking lot to the venue. Fans were lined up but they weren't all for chase therefore it wasn't significant enough to be in anything chase related. I said hello to some fans and showed the security guards my access pass. Alexa and I had to have those since we could technically be random groupies lying to get in.
I took a couple shots of the venue inside before going to the stage. Mitchel was facing Jesse so he didn't see me, Kras gave me a friendly nod while tuning his guitar. Clinton was backstage and Pat was looking for his picks.
"Smile!"I called out to Kras. He stuck his tongue out for me resulting in me laughing. I took the picture and got the rest of the boys in action. Mitchel turned around and smiled at me. I waved.
"So are we good now?"He spoke into the mic. I glanced back at the sound booth to see they were pressing a bunch of buttons. I took a picture.
"Yep! All good now!"A guy from the booth said through an overhead sound system. The boys cheered, it was always a relief. I took some pictures. I let my camera hang from the strap around my neck. I walked up to the stage and reached up.
"Pull me up."I told the boys. Mitchel came forward and knelt down so he could put his hands under my arms. I placed one of my feet against the stage to climb. I pushed up and he pulled.
I got onto the stage with a slight stumble. He chuckled and took my camera off me. "Stop!"I giggled when he started to take pictures of me. He simply smiled stubbornly.
Finally he gave me back my camera and ruffled my hair. Pat started talking to him so I went to Clinton. "How's that been going?"He asked me quite clearly meaning mitchel and I.
"It's ok. It's getting better for me. He still doesn't know about everything. I really really like him though."I sighed. He gave me a sympathetic smile.
"Yeah he's crazy about you, when he likes someone this much it's a big deal. It's rare. You really need to tell him though, he's getting confused as to why you don't wanna be together. I can see he's getting hurt."He advised me. I hesitated, I agreed of course.
"I think I'll try and tell him tonight."I decided. Clinton smiled now and gave me a pat on the shoulder. Christian now came up behind me.
"Hey picture girl."He teased me. I jokingly slapped his arm resulting in him letting out a small yelp. I walked over to the microphone and tapped it.
Mitchel jumped down off the stage to where the crowd would stand. "Sing!"He demanded. I rolled my eyes.
"Good joke."I said into the mic before joining him on the floor. I went up to him and noticed one of his braids was out of place. I fixed it and leaned against him.
